Ao3 is very interesting in how it changes your tactics 120%... leveling my str bird (will be most used char) I am horrified by how mages go Rambo into mobs, and how bears keep throwing mobs into bigger mobs. Yes we can get away with it, but that means ao3 adjusting is that much more difficult. I can immediately tell who has a ao3 char or not lol
Also, my dream-team includes 2 mages (pally w spear and pure with Aoe staff) two birds (can be pure for skills but I like rangers lol) and one tank to keep them baddies in motion. Btw crippling slash is a good boss stopper IMO
Wow, how I really DO NOT like your attitude. Please let me know your IGN so that I don't add you as a friend by mistake.
On topic: I cannot agree more that the group you're playing with is extremley important for the whole AO3 experience. I would relly love a guild system right now. :)
Onwards my country men!
Seriously it't not that hard..look at how many people rush victory lap with no problem just with a little bit of teamwork. I'm sure there are some guides on defeating the keeper
It is frustrating getting continually one-shotted as a Mage. It's a lot better at level 49 than when I was 45, but even the first level can kick my butt if I'm not fully into the game. It was amazing how much easier that first level seems as a level 45 tank, but, unlike my wiz, my tank knew what to expect, where the bosses were and has lots better armor. I think as you play the levels more, it gets easier. And a good group is a positive boon.
Urgh....remembering meeting up with those nasty little aliens with the plasma swords as a mage that first time. *poink*. *poink*. Dead. Bleah.
omg lol yeah yo in ur sig.. u spealt it wrong man ;)
Your'e really not funny. Not only that but you follow me in all of my forums. Every single one i have your in. Are you stalking me? Are you a rapist? I'm sure your'e more than just a rapist. But, I'm not going to unleash my fury by swearing at you for always following me in all of my posts!
Btw that post up there ^^^^^ is to the psychoo Twink.
The other day I was in a group and after respawing at entrance 3 of them decided not to follow the two mages to fight first Orthozz brother. Lvl 47 and 48 mages took out that brother in about 20 seconds cause we worked well together. I've been in groups of 5 with mages, archers and tanks that did nothing but get killed. Your experience depends very much upon who you play with.
I haven't bought AO3 yet, but I'd like to mention that my mage gets one-shot-killed in AO2 from time to time. I figure that it's just part of playing a mage. Elves aren't particularly buff (not us "pure" Int mages, anyway), and our armor is just cloth. We die easily. That's why I'm always trying to hide behind the tank. ;)
I've noticed a shortage of tanks lately. Nobody likes the bear or something???
