One of the greatest ideas i have read.
+1 to this. I hate trying to compete with people that have thousands of kills....

Why not just reset the kill/death counters every season for LB purposes? So everyone starts at 0 again for the season?
Everyone should still keep our 'total' numbers - but the seasonal LB could reset just like the timed LB runs.
I'm not really an LB player - I could really care less if I'm on them, but I think resetting each season just makes more sense. After all - do the Milwaukee Brewers (Love ya Kill - that's for you) have to make up a deficit of all the games they lost every season? No – they get a clean slate each season just like all the other teams.
I think this would prevent some kill farming since people can’t build up a cushion for LB status with a permanent place (ie Patrick – never met him, but over 1m PVE kills – all that in season 1 and 2 also if I’m not mistaken… wow).
Thumbs up for this idea defamed i honestly think its positive,constructive and not selfish.tho some may disagree with me especially those who measure amount of time they have spent.if uve started al since a year ago i need more than 24hours to catch up.logically.
The way i see it as follow:
Seasonal encouragues new players to compete and push themselves to be worthy of lb
Players who have been there since day 1 and haul their efforts earn their rights to be on lb.this is a long time supporter and display of dedicated commitment.
And let the community evaluate whos the best or whatever proposition the lb is giving.this is not an easy task for sts to solve to please everyone.what you have suggested is the best for now in my opinion.
I put my faith in hard work rather than length of service.its not even an apple to apple comparison.if i could get all the time ive missed simple coz i nvr knew all or not having a working device to play where would ive been now?
Btw thanks for light at the end of the tunnel coz ive given up on lb till i see this.brilliantly thought and written.wish people would spend some time to digest your inputs.

Thanks Alfai, yep i have thought about the oldest players as well hence suggested a 'parallel counter' idea for every season :) Hopefully they implement this.. everyone will be happy as old players will stay there on All-time top lb, and new players can compete for seasonal lb part ;)

Fantastic idea. I have invested a lot of time, money and energy into the Legends games and have never once made it onto a LB - regardless of how well I play or how much time I spend doing so. The system has many flaws, and I think your suggestion will remedy the more severe flaw and put the LB in a whole new direction. It will make the game much more enjoyable while keeping it competitive for the majority, not the minority.

1 thing is that this season i worked hard for the ctf lb an got 20k at least this season and would hate to see a different banner been giving out was differnet. Which is has to be because those who worked hard wants that little extra, lets be honest.
I am already bored in ctf and probably won't move a lot next season. So i will be missing a banner, can you follow me on this?
If they change the LB system, that would probably happen with a new season.. You wont miss any extra banner. I really hope they do change.Quote:
