Hi H2N. Five Elements is now "Five Elementz" - We are no longer using the old name. Could we please have that updated to reflect the current name/rank? For the frequent list. Thanks.

I think AP rankings should only help you get into the top 50, not be a factor of deciding top 50. Maybe average AP per player, but total AP is ridiculous as it only shows the size of a guild. If it werent for the size of a guild being such a huge factor the top 5 guilds would change alot. I understand it is used as a measure of being in the top 50, so elitist guilds wouldnt win, but it shouldnt mean that any guild can invite every l36 they see and gain ranks.

Tl;dr-change it to average AP/player for the top 50 guilds or just use it to find the top 50 and drop it

APs only count for 6.67% (1 / 15) of the final top 50 ranking.

The guild with the most APs is only ranked #31.

Guild #2 is ranked #29 in APs.

Guild #4 is ranked #39 in APs.

theres pve avg.. then pve kdr.. ctf avg/ kdr, tdm avg/kdr

i think it make sense to have total aps/ AVG aps

We don't want to include information that would reveal the # of members in the guild, as we feel that information would be divisive. Including both total APs and APs per member would reveal the # of members in the guild. Replacing total APs with APs per member would remove useful information as total APs is a useful indicator for guilds outside the top 50 to strive for. We could include APs per member and still keep total APs if we don't reveal the actual APs per member number, but just the rank #, but a guild that needs to improve its APs per member rank would need to know its APs per member number. I guess the guild could calculate its APs per member number on its own because it knows how many members are in the guild and how many total APs the guild has from the listing. Hard to say for sure on this one which way to go.

<Chosen> had their merger after this week's rankings were released. They were at the time of the ranking 79th.

I just saw on the in-game leaderboards that they are now 3rd.

I'm not hard up on ranking. We got to where are (or were) on this week's ranking on the back of hard work from all guildies. It's just slightly disappointing to have the good news slightly dampened because one new guild is formed from a merger after the rankings are formally released and the rankings are recalculated.

I know nothing will be revised after this post. I'm just voicing my concerns. Hope we can be impartial about guild rankings in future.

Last but not least, congratulations to <Chosen> for their 3rd placing this week :)

Apologies. That was an inadvertent unofficial run, so it has been removed. The in-game top guilds listing is back to the official 2014-03-05 listing. Don't really know how things will end up when the next official listing comes out next Wednesday, 2014-03-12.
