Chart updated to lvl41.
I've been thinking what color should i give the lvl38+ grand tarloks, and I concluded the 2 extra stat point overall is recommended over a bit loss on damage for sorcerers.
On a lvl41 item, its -3 dmg, +81 hp, a very good deal if you ask me.
For rogues im not sure, but if i remember 1 int gives 5 hp and a bit mana, so it is a good exchange.
Warriors told me that rage gem isnt really useful since 1 dexterity gives only 3 hp point so not worth the exchange.
Feel free to share your opinions, i can change the colours if you manage to convince me.

Heh, you predicted the exact tarlok gem stats, just the original stats was wrong.
It is very hard to know the future stats, even developers are in trouble. You can read this in the official upgrade annoucement:
"This scales up from level 10 items that are a base +1 with a Super Gem possible bonus of +2." In reality: lvl10 item give +2 on normal and +3 on grand.
This statement was also wrong, lvl41 original gem stat not raised.
I think it is because the formula has changed formerly, it would be very helpful if we can get the current one.
I edited my above post meant to say lvl 42. I used your guide to calculate the difference between each stat changed, then added that difference back onto the original number to predict the next stat change.
Example regular original gems had a stat change at lvl 9 and lvl 25. So I did 25-8=17. Then I added that back into most recent stat change 25+17=42.
The tarlok gems are a bit harder as you have to do the math for the primary and secondary stats separately almost like they were two different gems.

tarlok rage gem for warriors
+5 str, +3 dex vs +6str
- youre losing -3 hp overall and -0.66 dmg
- and ur gaining 0.45% dodge , 0.18% critical
1 str= 10 hp
1 str = 0.64 dmg
1 dex= 3 hp
1 dex = 0.14 dmg
0.64 x 3 = 1.96 dmg (str)
( 3 indicating the str ur losing from 5,3 rage gems)
0.14 x 9 = 1.26 dmg (dex)
( 9 indicating the +9 dex gaining from 5,3 rage gems )
I edited the chart and noted where rage gems are not recommended. These are the Lvl17-37 yellow and lvl38-41 light green zones.
So the only meaningful utilizaton of tarlok's rage gems are lvl1-8 and lv13-16, where there is no loss on the main stat str.
But why? The details lie in the structure of the classes:
Warriors:
1 str 10 hp
1 dex 3 hp
1 int 3 hp
Rogues:
1 str 10 hp
1 dex 3 hp
1 int 5 hp
Mages:
1 str 10 hp
1 dex 5 hp
1 int 3 hp
(Main stats are red)
Giving up one primary stat to any secondary result an increased hp.. except warriors. They only need str, this can be seen on eg: Entombed Hammer of Warfare or lvl26 Warrior Mythic helm, there is no secondary stat on these top warrior items but they got good armor benefits.
