Someone mentioned to me that last year day 1 droprate was amended day two for this exact reason.. when you (sts) said its the same as last year, is it possible you used the original droprate and not the amended one?Quote:

I just have one recommendation.
You've often been told to create a discussion forum about what you think or what you're going to change at an upcoming event. It will make it easier for you to do that instead of making a change that clearly many players don't like. You end up wasting your own time as well as the time of your employees making a change that isn't worth it. And even worse, I've always seen many events where, after seeing so much negative feedback, you make "good" fixes. Doing this kind of thing only wastes your time.
Take this advice into account and you'll see that both parties will agree to the changes that need to be made. If they don't want to, then simply close the game. If you do, it will only cause you to lose players one by one until no one wants to play.
And I'm not just saying this; many games from large companies have lost many players due to changes that the community itself believes are unnecessary.
Think about it, Arcane Legends has no competition, so why instead of looking for good solutions to attract more players and keep current players, they just make changes that the community obviously won't agree with?
So Honest Opinion now that I’ve played for a few hours:
The event itself is meh. I’m not buying exlirs with the terrible news I’m heating, and farming eggs without it is a joke.
But, that being said… I’m making a killing in the market! Can’t complain there, won’t reveal my strategy but I’ve already made 60mill this event F2P!
So while the event is trash, I like the effects it has on the market!:) wish it was a week longer that’s it.
Please don’t say that you expected to get one of the best pets in game by farming “only” ten minutes and investing 1.3m on elixer
Be aware not all your players can afford to buy the elixir, EVEN WITH GOLD THEY'RE EXPENSIVE IN AUCTION. ALSO PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF THE PLAYERS AND NOT JUST CONSIDER YOUR WALLETS, THIS UPDATE IN PET EGGSTRAVAGANZA IS A REAL TURN OFF. LOTS OF PLAYERS STRUGGLE TO CLEAR GAME CONTENT BECAUSE OF NEW MECHANICS, AND THIS EVENT IS ONE WAY TO OVERCOME SUCH HURDLES BECAUSE PLAYERS CAN GET POWERFUL STAT BOOST FROM THE PETS, OR THEY CAN SELL THOSE PETS AND EARN TO BUY THE EQUIPMENT THEY NEED. here’s why i don’t buy the “we need to protect the price of eggs” being the reason for the changes we don’t want:
you already control certain eggs by not letting them drop, why not control the ones you aren’t telling us your concerned about ?
there is no response with regard to inflation in general, just this undefined “egg market” lol
the game is saturated with eggs after years & so few eggs matter, and that is what increased their value
what other markets are subject to this scrutiny specifically
in the past i remember ppl “saying item x is too expensive pls re release it”, & sts response was
-hey guys be cool and don’t charge a lot-, yet now they need to remake event due to unknowable perimeter of prices of one particular type of item

I expected this and more since 2021 changes to how gears work. 100%corporage greed. I have respect to game devs such as path of exile/warframe/subscription based rpgs, atleast they are upfront, and do care about if their game is appelaling to their ENTIRE community and not just whales.

Don’t mean to sarcasm this game. Arcane Legend has reached limitation because of continuously event.
i can barely do like 7-8 runs in portal with 1 elixir, that s total non sense compared to last years, guess that s the answer why nobody is even trying this event

the worst part is that the developers really LIED to our faces saying they did not change the drop rate of arcanes/heroics. I RAN 6 HOURS with aged elixir and looted/seen 1 arcane. Beside the arcane I looted, I did not see another arcane or heroic egg. Insanely unprofessional from the sts team, this game will be dead pretty soon. Unfortunately, devs don’t listen to the community. I’ve already seen this happen before, always ends the same way. 🪦

Why don’t u remove all the eggs that are obtainable by boss drops, map drops, ally drop, quest drop, …. From the loottable?

scam event from cinco and the gang. much elixirs used but got legendary and myth egg. i know your agenda.. skip looting from portal, just open locked crated with 5 more platinum cost rather than 10 plat elixir.

10 min elixir, I've been playing this game for 12 years, but I've never encountered anything like this. Why don't you leave it for 1h like last year. I donated a lot of money here, but for something like this, 10 min. never.
and one more thing...please don't ruin the game for the money. take back the 1h elixir. you'll get the money anyway but don't be greedy, it doesn't bring anything good.
Keep everything the same its perfect just make the arcane and heroic eggs in portal drops better. thanks for the event!!

Sorry for quoting you id just like to add something that could be fixed , the elixer counting down everywhere seems counterproductive , as far as irl goes we may not be able to sit and farm due to random things coming up that we have to tend to in the real world , thus wasting any elixers we have opened , is there any possibility you could only make it count down while the player is online ? Honestly terrible. I have used 50 elixirs and 3 double boss damage in an effective no stall no bad ping runs, and accidentally looted an arcane. I think that drop was just to get me hooked on running. Or if it was a mistake sts I can give it back to you. Disrespectful.
