I voted for #2. The models could have been worked on a little bit more, but it looks like it's really difficult to make them. Maybe wax models carved could have worked?
It's a very clear design, nothing looks messy, very nice. I can see that everyone put their hard work on it, but I see precision and congruence the most in #2's cake.

Thanks! I wasn't satisfied with the models either, but gum paste doesn't work as well as clay. It was also 1AM when I worked on them, LOL. Lack of sleep makes the hands a little less precise. It's not fair PL, :( making a cake it's not easy ( time and money) when finally got a descent one to post on facebook my Internet was down. Please understand that sometimes some of us might be having a hard time.

The cakes are all amazing and i definately agree all entries should b awarded. i was gonna do a cake in the shape of a screaming skull shield of the rift. Prob woulda been neat but i got nowhere near the skills to make a cake like some of these guys. Awsome job to all!
