I think the gem might grant slightly more stats than displayed. The ARCANE HOOKS are level 26 based so the displayed one might be the stat for lvl 26 around.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
If the gem is based on the level of crafting equipment then it might be useless for twinks as well. If 26 r getting 2/2/2 n 1.5 crit then level 13 or below might be half as 1/1/1 and .5 crit. If that happens then I will LAWL all night long.

I kinda thought the gem was bad too until I did a back of the napkin / quick spreadsheet calculation for a 41 rogue using 1 para gem, 14 of these new gems, and pure dex.
I did do this fast, so there are probably small errors, but I saw only a drop in bonus damage (40% on base without gear), but in other stats I saw a gain of 200 hp, a damage base drop by 2, an increase in 300 mana, and an impressive increase of crit by a huge 20%. If you used the new planar tactics armor, samael, and the new rogue daggers your crit base would be out of control. In a clash stacking aimed you would hover at around 90%-100% critical constantly, that... is rather scary.

Yes because 90 percent of people can afford 10 para gems. Lol no. Most people have 1-3 and ur statement that skills dont matter is completely wrong considering i vsed and beat a lvl 18 13-1 yesterday when im lvl 17 and using only two para gems he probably had one. Sure there are a select few people in my bracket that have 4 and up para gems but all u need is a nice little panic pet or a lurid bow proc and boom enemy rogue is dead. Doesnt matter how many para gems they have if they cant move or healQuote:

Stats of the new gun are slightly better, looks like 1.5 more dps and 2 more INT. Close but slightly better.
Do the new mythics have the same procs as the old mythics?

I'm glad they're taking the vanities into consideration. I was disappointed during the test that there was no new vanity.
