Oldschool 25-26 Bear Tournament
Oldschool 25-26 Bear Tournament
No of Players: 16
Type: Single Elimination
Description:
Character Level: 26
PvP Map: Forest Fight!
Rules:
- Only level 25-26 bears may be used.
- All matches must be played in the map “Forest Fight!”
- All rounds are best out of three matches (games to 10), not individual fights.
- Gear requirements: No vanities, Halloween items, str plat packs, or fbows are allowed in the tournament.
- After signing up, (and after participants have been randomly paired) you will need to contact the person you will be dueling against to discuss the best times when you both can play your matches.
- It will be your responsibility to organize/find and execute matches.
- Beginning a fight before both sides are accounted for and agree to go will void the match.
- Games must be password protected with a password that is agreed upon by both sides.
- Spectators are not allowed in the game along with contestants.
- All matches must be completed and reported within 2 days of the round's starting date. No-shows will result in a forfeit. Note: If one party cannot be reached after this time frame (2 days) has passed, the other party will automatically go to the next round. If both parties cannot be reached, one party will be randomly moved to the next round.
- Quitting an official match once it has started will result in a forfeit.
- Leaving an official match to avoid a death or to refresh your hp/mana is NOT permitted and will result in a disqualification.
- Any exploitation of ANY known or unknown cheat, hack, glitch, or bug will result in immediate disqualification of this PvP tournament. Tournament organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for suspicious and/or disruptive activity.
- The use of macros (chrome) are not allowed. You may use a computer to participate in the contest though.
- Allowing anyone else to play on your account during an official match is strictly prohibited and against the Terms of Service. Any person found playing for someone else will be disqualified, and may result in a game ban.
- You must stick with the same character throughout the tournament. For example: if you are a mage in round one, you must remain using the same mage throughout your participation of the contest. Class hopping (changing classes/toons) will result in a disqualification.
- You may not respec your character during a match, but you may respec after a match (as long as you do not take too long doing it). You may NOT respec between fights.
- You must defeat your opponent in two out of three matches and provide proof by taking a screenshot of the scoreboard at the end of each match (and posting it in this thread), to show you won and to move onto the next round. Please ensure you are using a device that can take screenshots. If you do not take a screenshot showing the number of your kills and post it here, that match will not be valid. There are no rematches.
- The player who loses a round, must go and click the "submit loss" button on the competition.

Updates:
24 November 2013:
After first match to ten within two players, they now have five days to complete the other games (changed from two days). One player must post results of first game and time completed. The player that is seen to show more effort in organizing a match will advance if matches are not complete within five days, but we will be lenient on this one. Also note that it is preferable to do all the matches consecutively within the same time period.
For those who have registered but have not posted ign yet, do so immediately please.
26 November 2013:
Slight miscommunication while writing up the rules, here are the few changes:
To win a round you must win 2/3 MATCHES (games to 10), not individual fights.
Furthermore, respecing is ONLY allowed IN BETWEEN MATCHES.
After fighting, the winner must post the screenshots of the score page at the end of each match. And the loser, must click the "submit loss" button on the competition page.
ALSO; For anyone who has signed up on the competition page but has not posted their IGN here, PLEASE DO SO IMMEDIATELY. We will attempt to replace players who have not done so with players who are eager to join the tourney starting tomorrow.
Good luck!!!
Whoever is winning at the moment will always seem to be invincible, that doesn't mean they are. Keep at it!
