Rushing Unhaunted Symphony

EDIT: Title should read: 'Rushing Haunted Symphony'

I have not heard of people doing this as of yet... But I think that due to the immense shortage of Glyph helms that this would be a good idea! Haunted Symphony is such a long level and is not farmed as far as i know of but rushing the level (as in just running through and not killing any mobs and skipping mini boss etc) could be an efficient(ish) way to farm for glyph helms, IMO, much better than the really short Panto runs at Nuri's Funhouse.

Lol you can't rush anymore. That was taken off during the alien oasis part 2 era. You have to bring the enemie count down a certain amount before the boss even spawns. This only works in the nuri level since she's the counted enemy for the level.

What he said :), you need a specific amount of mob kill.
Nuri's Madness run only works because there is only "1" mob you have to kill, and thats Nuri herself.
Lion's Den": you need 13 mobs left at the end for tamer and lion to appear.

Two questions:

1) Has anyone tried rushing Panto yet? If not, this could be a viable option.

2) Have we forgotten about the Snakecharmer? He can be rushed like the Fat Lady.

Actually. I dont think there is a minimum requirement on Haunted Symphony.

Haunted Symphony = 76 (Thanks elly!)
House of Pain = 18
Lions Den = 13
Bog = No Requirement (you can rush and kill boss, I've done it many times)
Nuri = No Requirement.

Fun House = No requirements from what I can tell.

Edit: Those wiser than me have given me some good data.

Magic number is 76. Assuming you skip the mini-boss, as well as that corner in that squared pathway of the mini-boss, 76 should be right after the first set of mobs you encounter in that huge squarish room with fences in the middle.

That said, pure rushing after 76 and clearing towards the boss at 76 is roughly the same time, give or take a few seconds getting to the boss. I would suggest clearing normally, just quicker.

What about the Funhouse? Can bosses be rushed or easier to just clear? No time to test as I am still trying to level.

Yup, even just getting to 76 mobs in map 1 probably means already killing the boss or finishing the other maps. Lol.

This is just like Tpaxx map in AO3, most clearing/longest map, most valuable pinks. If I'm not mistaken, this is followed by map 4 (Snake), map 2, map 3, and finally map 5.

Although map 5 has the bow, the two out of the six possible glyph drops are the 2H swords, which don't seem to have any value at all, add that with the fact that map 5 has no XP, I'd say map 5 is quite risky or low return to farm.

I never run Funhouse :p I have never trusted that map since it released and the prices of the helms still don't make me trust it more. If Funhouse was that good as a farm map, the first prices to drop would be helms, IMO, but they aren't :)

Ive seen glyphs drop in funhouse. Would it be faster to get a good group and make funhouse game and kill panto then rmk and repeat. Could probly kill panto 3-4 times vs 1 time in first map. But i havnt played funhouse in a week so im not sure if drop rate has been changed there

I tested this just by running through the first 2 boss areas. Panto will spawn whether or not you kill the 6 enemies before him. Gustav too. Then the mobs caught me and I died lol

I think you could rush, but honestly, the enemies are so insignificant that its easier to fight them. The drops do seem to happen less frequently on this map.

We were farming Panto here because we thought it might be a faster way to get some helms. We did runs to panto and rmk, for about 90 mins straight. Using elix the run took about 2 mins, and in 45 runs we got one glyph helm lol and one junk pink.

Technically, yes the Funhouse should make farming the helms faster. But, that's assuming the drop rate is the same. The current supply and prices of the helms show that this isn't the case, I don't think Funhouse rates are good compared to normal maps.

i don't know how that stacks up to the other maps either. That was only 1 drop for 1 person. *it was a mimicry too*
I know each players drop is independent, but if we look at the total # of drops

45runs x 5 = 225 drops
1 of 225 = 0.004% lol

that's not a nice number lol.

* 1/225 = 0.004 = 0.4%

I think this is a pretty reasonable number because I also did runs to Panto and rmk at funhouse for about an hour and saw only 1 Nuri's Glyph hood go to someone else.
I dont like the incredibly low drop rates at Funhouse :/

Lol, I remember on the first day or two, a Maestro's Baton I got sold for 400k. I wish it were the case now! Lol
