Funny or helpful.
The kind of behavior that doesn't blatantly ask for reputation bars (what Zapoke said).
Just be yourself and follow the forum rules.
Im just saying it seems like only popular people have high bars. If there is somebody nobody even knows or cares about ( like me :distress: ) they only have one bar
Well ive been around since 2010 and been with you all the way. I make sure to remain active ign and on forums but still nobody knows me.... im not trying to act conceited but id just like recognition :/
pay anyone with 5k+ posts money to give u a thumbs up.
If you deserve recognition you would have gotten it. It's not like everything you do gets thanked. It's also not how long you've been around, it's more of a connection thing, and who you know.
Personally, I haven't seen you post much on forums at all, so don't expect to have 10 bars right away just because you're a veteran. Judging by your profile, you only have 46 posts, so I'd say it's normal to have one bar...
Who cares about bars?? I didn't know I had 6 bars until I went on the browser one day, it's not really much of an achievement. :P
Make yourself more wellknown? And when you write a post, try not to write it for a thank - just be yourself :)
Gave you a thumbs-up because I'm weird
I think I have 4 bars...I haven't been forums on browser/computer for a long time...in fact the only way I knew I had 4 bars before was when my friend told me in game :P
Here's my advice: Be yourself, don't try to be a big legend, but follow rules and post helpful stuff.
Idk when was the last time I posted something helpful :P this certainly isn't much helpful.
These two quotes. You shouldn't try so hard to "suck up" and get reputation. You will get reputation in time. You just have to make a meaningful impact on the community, which well, you're only new so you won't (yet).
The other thing is that you shouldn't feel compelled to get reputation, a guardian (which too many people suck up to try to get) or anything like that. I personally believe that a post should be evaluated on it's own merits, not necessarily based on the whether the poster is a veteran or novice.
I helped you. Your welcome grats on second bar :)
This. The reputation system exists in the first place to encourage people to try and be nice and helpful in order to receive thanks. Honestly, just be yourself and treat everyone how you'd like to be treated. If you ever have information worth sharing, post it and you might get a thank or two. I might even be so bold as to say that I encourage to try and write something constructive in order to get a thank...but don't get carried away.
Rep finds me somehow. Dunno just guess i'm helpful :O
Sent using blood on a bathroom wall.
No you just threaten people with your fingers :p
Make a funny n ill thank u
it has to b really funny doe
Who cares about the context of your posts?!?!?! If you have barz u mus b super cool!
You have 2 bars, with 2 thanks?
I use an app for the forums so all the Rep talk is nonsense to me. I don't know who has what. It means nothing to me. I like ppl for who they and thank them if it's funny, makes a good point or could be helpful.
I really don't understand why it's important. To me having fun and enjoying yourself means more than some bars that u may or may not have.
