I'd like to point out that this update was a gift to all of us that are not able to play this game with rl-money. I appreciate it very much. You can get now decent pendants, inv slots, pets, a haircut, facial circumcision and a lot more gimmicks for free. Just remember: an auction slot update of 20 was 75 plat before.
I felt this post is necessary, since a lot of the feedback STS gets is negative. And I think STS deserves a round of applause.

If it'd were up to me, I'd keep the old prices, add Crawly's egg to be purchasable for 200-250 story tokens, make the Tenor Pendants worth around 50-100 story tokens (they're pretty useless compared to the present mythic/legendary amulets), extra character slots for 70-75 story tokens, extra inventory slots for 40-50 story tokens, extra auction slots for 25-30 story tokens, etc.
This is just a fair suggestion IMHO. STS, please consider it.

hey instant, you totally forgot mention all the other benefits (apperiances, pets, amulets, and so forth). Of course sts is not a socialist company, but in my eyes they try to give back in between their commercial boundaries.
I didn't mention the appearances because there was nothing wrong with them, but I did mention the pets and amulets. I also think that being able to buy inventory slots/stash slots/ auction slots/character slots with a different currency from platinum is great! All I'm saying is that there's nothing wrong with STS' intentions, it's just that it could've been better. I totally appreciate their efforts, of course.Quote:

This ongoing inflation in game is affecting all of us, plat-user or not. Believe it or not, this update is gonna help big one.
If u used to use plat to buy all those goodies now u can save them up for other stuff, ultimately it's a win-win-win situation.
If they had made name changing from story tokens.. Demm.. Used like 2k plat on that lol

This is indeed one of the best updates in the history of this game, they did it better than i could imagine
Genius from the point of view of sts cause now we all want crawly, inventory slots, extra character slot.. we gotta come and play on a daily basis

For all you complainers, this update gives free players a chance to experience more gameplay firsthand than just plat buyers experiencing it. Gives more freedom for the free players to actually play unlike other mmos where u had to buy everything With money mostly. So good job STS

Dear Plat-Users: Thanks for your money. STS and mostly I really do appreciate that.
Now to the critics of non-plat users, and why I think this update was a blessing. Consider that a lot of players do not live in the us or uk. Pick Germany (very limited free plat offers). Furthermore take the fact that most players play android, not apple (most free offers are for apple). And at last consider that a lot of players a under 16 or younger and dont have access to credit cards (in Germany not under 16 possible as in many other countries too).
Alright, what do we have.

And although I am German, I am Free-Plat-User. I live in the u.s., I have a credit card, an apple ipad and a ton of free plat offers.- but nevertheless:
