Hello ^^
Some twinks use both for switching.
For me, I'll take both for use at same time.
VB : Full
Jugg : 1,2
Goodluck XD
Thanks for the info :) since sts will be taking out the ability to switch skills I don't want to get used to switching. When you use veng and jugger do you still get kills? I can't believe you would be getting many kills with only 1 attack ability
I will probably go with jugger because I like to stay alive, but still not sure. Does vengeful blood make that much of a difference in damage output? Is it that noticeable? I am making this account specificly for clashes, so I will probably use jugger, still I would like to be capable in other areas.
Yea I gathered that much, what I'm asking is does vengeful blood make that much of a difference in damage output? Say I'm dealing 200 damage with axe throw, how much more increase will it go up? Iv heard some people say that veng is only good for the mana it gives but they were at endgame and I'm not sure if that changes the higher you go.
Well, when you use either warrior or mage, you can't always have the best build for every situation.
If you are tanking, ESPECIALLY alone, then jugg is amazing. It's irritating for me to play with warriors without jugg that tank alone or with 1 other because they end up dying before any of our dps do.
Don't drop VB though, it's necessary at twink levels to keep your mana up, and to do damage. VB will also refill mana to allies if they are hit.
So here's my answer: If 1v1, drop jugg (although it can be helpful vs rogue). If clash, you don't wanna be focusing on damage anyway. Get 3/5 jugg, or 4/5 if you have an extra point.
Prime, VB is pro at low lvls. It gives +50 str 25% crit 25% damage as well as returns mana...and low mana is one thing twinks suffer from! 50 STR isn't great shakes at l41 (about 500 hp I think) but it'd surely make an impact at twink levels.
Get both.
kill :
- Charged attack
- combine with skill pet timing
- Charged Skyward Smash :)

PLAY STYLE :)
Thanks guys this was super helpful :) very good insight and detailed comparison! I think I will get Heal, jugger, veng, and chest splitter, because of what I heard chest splitter deals the highest damage over time if you can hit the enemy every time, I'm focusing more on clash with this build. I will either have that build or heal, veng, axe throw, and skyward smash for duels, tell me what you think thanks guys
In Season 4 I used a similar build - HoR, Jugg, Veng, SS. Worked really well in clashes and also got some decent kills in. With CS, like you said, "if you can hit the enemy every time", therein lies CS's one downfall. The frontal cone dynamic that it uses is somewhat finicky in hitting your target (short range), especially if it's constantly moving around. Unless they've improved CS's hitting capability, I always found CS to be frustrating. SS at least locks the attack onto a target, and usually strikes it. Not to mention it also adds some mobility to your warrior.
Rogue kill easyly because the aimedshot stack critical, the more aimed shot you hit to enemeis, the more critical that enemy will received.
Also taking health from pierce is very WoW -__-
Even warrior with jugger + VB must be carefully while meet rogue dash type (with stunt charge attack, bow lock type such as umbral, and always charged pierce to get health)
In 22 you don’t have enough skill points for 5 skills. That’s why you have to choose wisely.
VB is a must – health, dmg, crit and endless MANA.
Horn is a must with shield
SS is a must for dmg, stun and move fast.
This leaves you with
at- not enough dmg in low lvls, long cooldown but high fun factor for farming noobs
jugger – for team players who want to leave the kills to rogue and have low deaths. In 1v1 vs warri they will laugh at you when you use jugger (no pet, heal/ jugger). Rogues will kill you 1v1 as soon as jugger is off. You won’t kill a rogue since you can’t deal enough damage before he drops the next packs.
CS – dmg and feeble – for killers.
It’s mainly a question of playing style.
Personally I use CS and switch gear:
- For clashes: I use migty jugger/ berserker set with storm sword – higher armor and heal proc
- For 1v1: I use use Tarlok assault with dws – higher damage
Veng is the key ur power.
Jug for devense, use both for tank build.
Use just veng for critic build and with sky, chest, horn.
sorry if im wrong and sorry for my english :chuncky:
Indeed you are correct - you will miss out on feeble. Don't get me wrong, I find CS to be a great, all-encompassing skill for warriors. But it does unfortunately have a weak range for striking your targets (plus it is a directional skill). Also, the feeble debuff has a very short duration - test it on a buddy some time in PvP. You will see that most warrior debuffs from skills last about 1-2 seconds :/ The optimal set up would be to CS/Axe Throw the rogue to chain debuff and keep them from stacking crits.
2 seconds of feeble is all I need, cs takes 3 seconds to reload which gives the rogue a 1 second window to hit a critical unless I miss :) also I have seen a lot of warriors use skyward smash, I want something unique. I like the idea of using cs and axe throw, that would be a total rogue killer build am I right? Cs with the percentage of knock back and axe throw with pull would be a great combo if you don't want your rogue friend to get his packs. Also the feeble combo and the high damage both cs and axe throw have could obliterate rogues. I have never used this build but you just sparked an idea in my mind :) tell me what you think
Its important to be able to stay close to rogue. Hard to do with just axe. In theory cs/at would be the best but ss really helps you stay on em.
Real easy for rogue to get some distance after sam stun and 7 sec cooldown. With ss you dont have to chase after you pull em in, can just hop right to them.
I believe this thread is about jugg vs vb, sorry to derail.
Yea I agree Stoba distance is bad for a warrior but most players in level 23 bracket don't have Sams. I don't believe axe throw has changed, when warriors use it on me they pull me, and I rarely ever see anyone using windmill -.- just dosent happen anymore.
True...
My opinion is Juggernaut over VB. Many will disagree with me (waits for Crowsfoot to enter the room :)...) I choose Juggernaut because I am a pure tank who plays defensively and rarely solos or PvPs. While I do not agree with the cool down length of Juggernaut, and have also, countless times, suggested that the initial heal be changed to a +% heal to account for our higher levels/hp pools, I do find the immunity to movement impairments and the damage reduction advantageous in elite maps (and PvP). I also spec the taunt upgrade for Juggernaut, because after a year of playing, my taunt rhythm includes it - although this expansion's bosses seem much more randomized in their attack sequences. Nothing compared to the Nintendo-level mechanics of Nordr bosses.
Given the choice of one, jugg. I thought I was clear that VB was not a necessity as jugg is in certain maps. None the less, VB is the best buff skill in game and should be taken full advantage of.
PvP wise, you will never land a large amount if kills without VB. Additionally, jugg is largely uneeded for twinks. However, my end game PvP spec does have both skills speced.
Thanks guys this has been super helpful! You guys are great and I love you all for helping me out :)
VB for the win.
try this jugg,ss,cs,horn as for killing use dws for crit proc..better to stay alive and your teams.
..being a good tanker youll earn a lot of respects
but if you choose vb use storm sword for +25str proc. that also helps you to stay alive.and for pet maybe ripmaw, glacian is good tanking pet.if you choose vb make sure you have a lot armor..a warrior with a full dmg is a newbie i guess:)
my fav.tank and the best tanker i ever met is nostek lvl 17he can tank me and we can stay alive even 4vs2.
ofc we lost but before they killed us it took almost 5mins.no exageration:)
I interchange it with SM and like it. On end game levels I find myself using both (VB and Jugg) when the mobs get tighter and more frequent. The only hang up is having only one attack ( I use HOR). But when going get tough, it's nice to have to both.
