The vanity hats give 1 armor, which makes it worth equipping one. But we need to be able to toggle it being visible. I do not want to be running around in antlers till the next festival.

The vanity items were supposed to be for just appearance only. The engine supports rings and amulets and we will add them in a future release to allow for more itemization.

Makes no difference to me, but kinda sucks for anyone who bought the hats for the extra armor.

But really how about compromise: items we bought for PLAT we get 1 armor, and ones like antlers and Droid ears get none?
Droid ears already have none.
Hooch hats have +1 tho. Yeah hooch hat! (thanks to whoever gave me one today -- I totally forgot the name, but having loads of fun waddling around drunk with my Mageswords and beer.

Aww... I know it isn't much, but I liked that +1 armor.
Ah well, the antlers are cool on my mage, makes her look like a faun. It also masks whatever helm she's wearing, which was nice when I had the Toad Tiara, heh. Got tired of answering "what is that on your head?!" and "can I plz by your helmet??"
