Toooo.....skiinny, and fat.
I like it. Very different from PL. They guy reminds me a bit of "mr incredible" Keep posting them!
I love the art style. Different from all that I have seen and exaggerated models. I will blame STS for my divorce....
Seriously? To me, the art is hurting my eyes. Good, but just not....I can't place it. It's just not my style....But I won't care what the graphics look like if the game is fun ;)
People are so picky these days -_-. good job!
Looks cool. I just hope it's not a space skinned version of PL. Don't get me wrong I LOVE PL, but I'm really hoping this game picks up and there's some space travel, spaceships, etc added. :D
Does kinda bring to mind slightly a edgier version of pixar characters, but looks cool to me. Any word on how many classes (jobs or whatever) are planned?
Looks very nice good job devs!
looks promising keep up the good work guys !!
Woo, it looks great.
Any idea when it'll be released?
Also, will it be released first for iOS/Android or both at the same time?
Droid Gamers article says Q2 of 2011. It looks like that game game from a press release that Spacetime Studios released today.
A nice melding of a scifi and cartoonish look. Easy on the eyes, the characters really pop from the backgrounds. Reminds me of Don Bluth and Brad Bird's approaches to UPA style, crammed into a video game. Best of luck.
I wonder if they would accept concept artwork because I have so many style ideas... I don't even want some sort of compensation, I just want to see my ideas go where they might be established. :)
On a small screen, it's tough to get a realistic look and it's not as attractive to the masses. I like a cartoonish look for the stuff that moves so it pops from the backgrounds better, it looks good, people are familiar with it, it's intuitive to the eyes/brain. Not to mention, it frees you from the confines of the user's expectations of physics and reality, pre-suspending their disbelief. But I work in comics, I have a degree in sequential art covering animation and conceptual art, so I'm definitely going to be biased in that more conventional direction.
Looks awesome!
Lemme guess, the guys name is rocko?;)
They look like the cartoon characters from the insurance commercials......
Why can't there be a skinny dorky guy with all the guns? Isn't that the reality of the players who will get the game? :)
Ehh not into the spacey games. Buttt good job.
So funny when people insult something, or say they don't like it, but cover it with a compliment.
Take it like this, little Jimmy draws a picture of a kitten for his mommy, he pridefully finishes and is very pleased with the work, he brings his amazing picture to his mother, Karen, who then says "Jimmy, this picture is awful, but nice try". Jimmy then leaves crying, because all he heard was, "this picture is awful"
Way to crush hopes and dreams Lyric, Jimmy then went on to live the life as a homeless person, maybe if his mother said it was good he'd be as big as Leonardo De Vinci, but sadly he didn't. Life wrecker!
Wow, that's just what I need... Another game to get addicted to. How will I pay for it if I lose my job from playing all the time?!?

Looks awsome devs! And will it be a room based game? Also, the ships in the computer game, will you be able to use them?
Nice, love the stylized approach. Works well with the limited graphics resources on mobile.
I can not wait!!! It looks amazing.
What's that thing on his head?
Awesome, every time I see more about this game the more my anticipation levels rise.
omg...will i divorce?
WoW beat out its competitors in part because of the many advantages of the cartoon/less realistic style that they went with. It's far less demanding on the hardware, and more approachable for what they like to call "non-core gamers" these days.
WTB all the plat :D
True, but there's also a difference between saying "this sucks, but interesting use of color" and "it's not to my taste, but I appreciate how it will appeal to others". This first is, as you put it, covering a negative with complement. The other is not so negative.
For example, there are genres of music I simply don't like. But I know enough about music as a whole that I can recognize a well-written (or performed) example in one of those styles, and offer constructive critique on it, even if I don't like it because of the style.
Bear in mind, it's an early development screenshot and probably missing a lot of bits. Also bear in mind that it's blown up so you can see it better. It'll look great on your mobile device, trust us.
looks alright haha
ooo im hoping for an uber hardcore pvp eve-like game XD
eve is great.
eve on a phone is fantastic :o
Looks cool! I'm excited to see the finished product. It doesn't matter to me how the game is released, I know you guys have the very unique ability to adapt to what the players want. You proved yourselves already. Good job!
