MMo Talk-No one wants to type 50 letters!

Having hard time understand what the heck people are saying when they use 3 letters to say 5 words? Well uncle Deathy is here to help ya out!

UPDATE! 5/20/2011 Came back to play PL more so going to get to my 100 goal! I AM NOW STARTING TO ADD *FROM TO THE ONES THAT PEOPLE TOLD ME TO ADD.WONT BE GOING TO THE OLD POSTS YET (going to do that when i get the time) BUT I ADDED 5 MORE ... I PUT 15 MORE BUT I FORGOT TO SAVE AND LEFT PAGE...

As you can see i put TTYL and GTG together to make it even shorter.Power to the lazy people.

20.Agro(or Agrro cant remember)-Has to do with mobs/boss's.When you have agro mob is attacking you

21.Tank-Most RPGs they have a shield and always need to have agro.

22.Pull - To get aggro and draw a mob or boss to a desired location.(Or start a fight , depends on how it is used)

''Ok pull when you are ready.''

''O snap i have agro can you pull off me?''

23.DpS-Damage per second(People who do damage)

''Wow this DPS sure kills things fast!''

24.RP-Roll Play

''I like to RP as a knight because iv always wanted to be one''

The other thread is good about definitions but this seems good for the actual usages. I like it.

How about
res/rez: Resurrect as in "Res plz" which means, "Please be so kind as to find my sorry a## and resurrect me. I would greatly appreciate not having to run back to the fight from the start."

And plz: Please, always nice to say Please.

You used GTG in an example but define it to get to your 100. I use this all the time.

Oh and you may as well throw in
B) S) and T) for those baffled by the hawkers at the castle. ;)

And it's not technically a txt speek but how about the secret code

FH=forest haven
LE=lost expidition
AO1,2,3=alien oasis one, two and three
Swamps=ancient swamps
Rush=push through mobs to reach something
(E)XP=experience points
Power level (plvl)=to level quicker with pots or having a high level
ALT=2nd character made
MAIN=first character made
Afk=away from keyboard (means wasnt on)
Char=character

I think Pull is a little different than this and a very import term for people to understand (so please correct me if I'm wrong!). Well i guess you can use it in two ways because the guilds that i raided with in many other MMo's use pull both ways

It is more how you use it when you say like-

Ok we are ready pull

or

O snap i got agro pull off me

Hey guys sorry was busy geting my warrior to 56 :D alts FTW

But ya back to this thing :)

Pally is a paladin.Paladins can be DPS / Heal / Tank. They use shields one handeds .Mot sure the stats for them but i think its dex / int in PL.They are in every MMO (Computer) and some RPGs.In PL i think it is a enchant class with shield and sword like a tank.(I MIGHT BE WRONG :D)

Twink is most of the time under LVL cap and has best gear for that lvl.It is mostly a PVP term :)

I am quiet sure it is Rev, not rez. They both work but i would put both down.
Rev = revive, Rez = resurrect.

Also you forgot WTF and WTH, Dung(Dungeons) or dunging(dungeoning) and GL(good luck)

#35 you spelled whisper wrong in the quote example part.
you said "wisper"

i would also add a section that explains emotes such as ( :o, :), :(, :D, :\, :], :[, ;), :'(, D':, >:( )
And if people need to know how numbers affect the environment of how people type.
such as: h3y d00d = hey dude.
0 = o
3 = e
4 = a...
69 = ...
etc :D

Debuff (weaken enemy)

Kite (maintain aggro with a enemy while running around)

Leash ( how far a mob can run until it resets)
