Hello from the new ranger...

Just been playing (a lot) for about 5 weeks. Have two characters and can't decide which I like better. Big bear lvl 38 is better in single combat but it's probably more fun and living (virtually) as a ranger, now a lvl 56. I'm also new to online gaming and no more intelligent than my bear and my fox.

Both fun and I have lot of questions. My handicap is (other than being me) is that I'm playing from a Chromebook mousepad which has been tapped to death over the last few weeks. I'd like to find out more about how other Chromebook players are doing, how they've set up (I've got a couple things that work for me). So, looking to open up a discussion on rangers and bears and Chromebooks!

Both are good characters. In all honesty I would just pick whichever one you think is more fun.
Soloing isn't really something you should have to do very often. I would constantly look for games, and make leveling friends so you have groups to level with at all times. Makes leveling a lot easier and pretty equal on difficulty between classes since you all share xp. you won't only have to depend on how well your character does.

(I don't use a chromeBook) but when I am using my laptop to play online games, I use a USB mouse (I have a $20 gaming mouse, works very well)

Mouse?! Really. I played my wife's tablet and BOY! was that a lot easier moving. I love the fast-fire keys (1-4) but moving...I am the SLOWEST creature in PL.

There should be a Chrome or Chromebook thread somewhere. I understand the idea of balancing your Str/Int/Dex and b/c I've got a lot of Dex, I'd like to be able to trade. Cannot, cannot find in the Gear-thingy anything (Skills, Avatar, Store, etc) where I could shift some Dex to something else.

Here's another maybe stupid question: who can rev other than a mage/sorceress? I swear I saw a rhino do it a couple nights ago. Thanks for all your support and non-snarky answers!

Saw a 76 fox a couple nights ago. My take on foxes is: lots of fun scurrying around and being in the crowd. Against lower life forms, I'm cool in single combat even, but when I'm "on-level" (getting XP's), a tough character takes me out almost always. I've got a death rate that is shocking! ;-) Fun, but shocking. If I could keep firing AND move AND replenish my red fluid, I'd be a happy ranger.

Yes rhinos also have the power to rev and heal just like mages :) and yes tablets for pl are a 10/10 to play on

Welcome! As for pvms point, i dont think that u really have to cap.....

for example ive reached cap gold and beyond and my highest char is lvl 66

(note) ~~ you need to learn how to merch...... hint hint.....
