Lovenus - Platinum Guide

Hi everyone. My name is Lovenus. This is a platinum guide to help Pocket Legends players.

What is platinum?
Platinum is the in-game currency in Pocket Legends, the world's largest mobile MMO. With Platinum, you'll be able to buy lots of great potions, rare equipment, exotic dungeons, and fun costumes at the in-game store to become the best dressed, most powerful legend!

How can I get platinum?

Use "Control + F" and type the code to view easier. e.g [DAF]

1)Purchasing using iTunes by linking with computer [CMT]
2)Purchasing using iTunes by linking with iPhone [IDT]
2)Purchasing using PayPal/Amazon on Android [PAA]
3)PocketLegends.com [PLC]
4)Downloading apps and get rewarded [DAF]

How do I link my debit/credit card to my Apple ID?
Using computer [CMT]

Open "iTunes" and click on "Sign In" at top right corner.

Login to your Apple ID Account. If you do not have one, you can click on "Create New Account" to get one.

Click on "Account" under "Quick Links" on the middle left of "iTunes" to access your account information.

Click on "Edit Payment Information" to link your debit/credit card to your Apple ID Account. You can also update your billing address here.

Fill in all the information.
Payment Card is the type of card that you are using. e.g ( Visa, MasterCard, AMEX )
Card Number is the 16 digit number located at the front of your debit/credit card.
Security Code is the last 3 digit number found at the back of your debit/credit card.
Expiry Date can be found below the 16 digit number located at the front of your debit/credit card.
Billing Address is the address which you want your bills to be sent to

After you have filled in all the information, click "Done". Aferwhich, you will see another "Done" button. Click on it again and the process is completed.

Using iPhone [IDT]

Go to "Settings" and tap on "Store"

Login with your existing Apple ID Account. If you do not have one, tap on "Create New Apple ID".

Type in your Apple ID Account email and password. Click "OK" when done.

Tap on "View Apple ID" to view your account information.

Tap on "Payment Info" to link your debit/credit card. Tap on "Billing Address" to enter your billing address.

Fill in all the information.

Earning FREE platinum [DAF]

As you can see, there are two "platinum" icons. You can bring down the left side menu by tapping on your name at the top right corner in Pocket Legends. Either one will bring you to the "Platinum Store".

You are now in "Platinum Store". "Platinum Store" is a place where you can get loads of cool customizations to your in game character. Tap on "Earn Free Platinum" to get free platinum.

You are now in the character selection page. Tap on "Earn Free "Platinum Icon"" to get your free platinum.

A box will appear. Select "Earn Free Platinum" to continue and "Cancel" if you do not wish to proceed.

You will be directed to a list of apps available for download.

There is something you need to take note. IMPORTANT ! ! !
Note that at the end of the apps name, there is a bracket.
($$) means to download this app, you need to pay!
(Free) means this app is Free and no payment is required.

Thanks Major. ^^ You flatter me. Haha. Not really though. There are many players with way better guides than mine. I'm just trying to make some guides that are not there yet but yet will be beneficial to the Pocket Legends community.

Well all I can say is that your format is simple and easy to follow. Which is exactly what this communtiy needs. Keep it up. Once again good work lol.

Few other methods that should be added, iTunes gift cards that can be bought at a store and easily redemmed and used to buy platinum. This requires no credit card so is probably the most appealing to the young Pocket Legends audience. You can also obtain platinum through Paypal, PocketLegends.com, ect... :)

I haven't used it but as the 800 Plat option was recently removed in game i read that you could buy Plat online at PocketLegends.com. Is this a genuine place to buy Plat as it not only asks for your PL account email address but also for you password???? Is this right?

Im just a newb and everything, but it seems to me the best place to buy the plat is at pocketlegends.com, since apple wont be taking a 30% cut off the top. Please disregard if I am off base.

Q on linking with computer... so you don't need to have an iDevice to get plat that way? I see how to make an account there and set up the account, but not how to use the account to get plat. Or after you have the account you need to end up getting it in game?

I've looked at it, Fluff told me that you could use amazon gcs thru amazon payments, but there is no option to. :/

Anyway, I love the speed they stickied this... devs must make it easy for people to buy plat ^^

That is to ensure servers stability and future updates. I would do the same too. They deserve the money for the swift response to any problems. ^^

Hi I'm a new player and was wondering if anyone had a problem with the free plat page...

specifically when I go to earn free platinum and it takes you to the tapjoy page it just stays white for about a minute. Then it says the page could not load and shows the url of tapjoy and a long reference list with a bunch of stuff.

It seems like I can't even get the page with referrals to show up.

Thanks, I got addicted and hit 14 already and did all the quests in the free worlds, so hoping to get enough free Plat to get the next area :o

The apps never load, it stays on the white screen for about a minute or so then goes to this screen:

It works on my rooted evo running sprint lovers rom. Good luck. Ps once you run through the free plat once, the android tap joy doesn't give near the plat as the iOS platforms :(

Ah after much searching I figured it out.

I have a rooted EVO as well with Myn's Warm TwoPointTwo Rom. I actually had to search the 3000+ pg thread and found that people were having problems with various websites loading because of the adblock host file that Myn includes with his rom.

I just renamed the hosts file in the system/etc/ directory to something else which removed the adblock and I was able to finally load the page and get some plat from the offers.

So if anyone ever has my problem... try that :)
