Why marriage system?

I mean why this feature in a game where there is scamming and trust issues?
Making way for more sorrow apart from all the other things going on?
Apart from all sorrow , lies and talking about the game , the time, the gold.

I lost a chunk of gold , but I don't even want to ask it back because of confusion.

Or am I mistaken and this feature for only who know each other in real life?
But if not ,don't fall into this trap and scamhole and trust issues in a game where there is not an ounce in the people you meet.

I might have made some statements which I don't know if are right.
But this happened to me, and had to share it since I don't have many friends in game.

I feel like it would take time and effort to find for a proper person, I suggest not trusting a person easily because there are really persons who take others for granted. I also want to suggest another thing and that is, if you were to marry someone, I suggest being good friends should be done and established more rather than marrying him/her instantly.

The mistake is all yours that you have trusted someone that much.

I myself married to Prince, wonderful and extraordinary kind person.
I married this gent out of the blue and id say we built up a decent friendship, its up to YOU if you want to trust the person you’re married to, the “marriage system” has quite frankly nothing to do with that.
All the marriage system does is bind 2 people for the entire community to display.
Wether you want to trust that person or not is totally up to you, not the marriage system.
Ive never seen the marriage system force me to give my spouse any items.

This seems like a very rushed and shortsighted thread to me

Its not the fault of the system is just our luck was bad for trusting the wrong person thats why in game where we play with strangers is hard to build trust even if we trust them its doesn't mean they will care our trust

in fact some ppl have know each other for years but at the last moment the person they trust for years betrayed them so well its just mean finding the right person is hard... way to hard then playing the hardcore character game lol^^ may u be blessed

Well this system gave me more sadness than usual.
When people stick to you for something materialistic.
It taught me a lesson.but I don't know if that's a lesson to be learnt this way,it's making me doubt.
Was very hurt.
All contacts cut once what they want has been achieved.

Marriage system is a mini gold sink and something fun to have. Marry your best friend or something. I don't suggest dating online but who am I to tell you what you do.

If people are materialistic in a pixel game then I'd hate to see them in real life. Thats creepy.

I have planned to be broke or appear so from now on both rl and here.ty for the lesson.

Anyways to my feelings....is really hard to get rid of .i finally feel like I might understand romantic movies.

Well, im playing this game with my irl gf,, she doesnt want me to marry her in game, well, she asked me marriage irl.

That's awesome man.
I think that's how it is supposed to be, not behind screens typing your fingernails away and finally losing something both in the game, and something of your own self and conscience..

I don’t see how any of this is the fault of the Marriage system. Whats next? A friend hurts you so we blame the friendlist system? This is a game and should be treated as such

I know of people who keep diarys and take notes in this game. Its sad but true.

If you feel like things in game affect your real life feelings, maybe its time to take a break from the game.

It blows me away STS put this aspect in the game with no actual benefit except you can "/spouse" say whatever you want to them. No bonus to any stat only putting them at the top of your friends list. Just connecting two strangers in the night like Tender or eHarmony & have no real idea what their real life a/s/l is. Who thought this was a good idea? This aspect of the game has caused way more harm & drama than good. Fact

But honestly. If its not a friend you know how,why,when,where do u trust them with gold or expensive items. Unless these people are sending you nudes or something [emoji28],

Way better to learn that in a virtual environment instead of IRL

Yea guys ,I think both of us learnt a lesson and how hard this could be knowing a person for so short but having such hard feelings to part.
I will try to be safe and closed in real life because this was hard and a blatantly sorrow filled comeback.

I am sorry you lost here. Dont trust people so easily. In all my years of having played this game there are probably 2-3 people I know I can trust completely. But the system isnt to blame for this. And you dont need stats etc or bonuses for it too. There would be more issues in the future if that is to happen. And really, I know people have actually met and married in real life via this game. Couple of my friends did too. But without having a proper judgment how did you decide to marry a person in the game?

Is the point of marriage just a fun cute thing to do in game, or do they share stash space or gold or something?

Marriage is just another way to flush away the gold and keep the inflation under control, I came back a year ago see that feature, I was just surprised and that's it, after that, I went to option mute the marriage notification and it's as if this feature doesn't even exist in the game for me.
