New aps topic: ideas for the future

Hello everyone!

We usually ask for vanities, events, gears, procs,pets.. But we rarely made a topic about which aps we want, altough several times we expressed our opinions about it.

Probably not the largest part of players is interested about aps, but I m sure there s a good number of players who loves complete them.

Was wondering if devs would consider our feedback for what kind of aps we would like to have in the future.

Those are some ideas I got:

-A new mythic set to be crafted with ingredients which are not tradeble

-Complete an elite (or all elite) maps beating a time scored by a Dev (they set some scores, ofc not too hard to beat).

-Reach wave 50 and wave 75 in Elite valley gates

-lv up to 76 your first choice pet when you started to play in endgame maps. (timber, precious or tankton)

-Complete 15-30-100 m6 maps without a single death

-Kill hydra in solo mode

-Add Hughtlulu (love event) and Bun Bun (Easter event) bosses to Deepmarsh

-Craft a love set (Tainted)

Those are just few ideas, what's yours?

Absolutely disagree with the following

Also “ideas” are suggestions they belong in the suggestion sub forum.

Any APs that suggest a player to buy gears to achieve those APs should not be implemented due to newer players who are f2p and yes for the oldies too . JM2c

-I like the idea of a new mythic set (would be a good addition for APS in the new expansion many people is talking about).

-About beating a time scored by a dev in an elite map, I see drama coming for that. Cheaters could take advantage of that as they do in other maps, and earn those APS easily, taking lead on seasonal LB for example.

-I also like the one for leveling your starter pet to level 76, with some effort and some eggs slotted it can be done easily.

-Adding more bosses to Deepmarsh is also a good idea. They could make a rotation between actual bosses and some new ones they can include, like the ones you mention. One day opens with current bosses, next time it opens they rotate.

My ideas:

-They should add more Social Achievements, like getting 50 friends - 100 friends - 500 friends.
-First Trade Made (granted when you complete your first trade)
-Mythic Set Collector/Crafter (granted for crafting both of the actual mythic sets (Uller/Vili/Himingleva and Glintstone))

I disagree with the social one, because a lot of ap leaderboard people don't like to keep a lot of friend's in their list.

25000 elite mob kills in maps... By the time we get 100 bosses in most of them we are already at 10k mob kills.
Open 1 locked chest. Open 10 locked chests. -remember crate keys so not p2w. Not in hdc mode.
Use 10 ankhs, use 50 anks, use 100 ankhs. Ofc common sense not in hard core mode.
Run an event. Run an event 50 100 200 500 times. You can run 1 event 10 times and it stays with you in the next and so on.
Score bronze silver gold and plat tier in an event.
999m gold, get a vanity and title untradeable. 0 aps.
Wear a vanity, wear a vanity in all vanity slots.
Craft 10 50 100 500 1000 items.
Open campaign chests (bronze copper gold silver chests from pve maps) 10x 100x 1000x 2000x.

Why not adding ultimate elite boss, a mode where u need kill all existing boss,
but they would be so hard to kill that you would need an extremely OP pt!

Reminds me of MegaMan and Bass, fight all bosses and at the final stage you fight them 1 at a time and it is extremely hard. Need extremely good strategies to win. 1 boss has 3 stages and I could never beat it because of how hard it was. Very last boss in the game.

How about a "Deaths" AP??????

Number of deaths is a reflection of play time........

Die a Million times, get the "Glutton Of Punishment" AP...... It means you HAVE been through Arlor....

Well, not die literally 1 million times but, just a good number of deaths....... We have PLENTY from the first opening of Glintstone maps....... Plenty of tombstones.......

-50/75 wave in gates? i would prefer to have some wave in solo mode (15/20)
-solo hydra? why only hydra, orrick able to kill for any class solo too
-point of mythic set if later they probably add arcanes? i agree only if it will be usefull (like glint set for rog/warr)
-lvl76 pet - bottable in hauntlet
-craft tainted set - no thanks, bad set, especially for warr/mage
-complete some m6 without deaths - maus isn't hard atm, pointless achievement imo, something like: finish m6 with only legendary gears (or gears without procs) and without using ability of pets would be more "fun"
-complete elite in time (set by dev) is fine (for solo ofc)

Apps are butt, the lb is a joke.
I’d rather they add an alimony system, I’d rather have toilets overflow in your house :D

Other than complete m6 maps without a single death and reaching waves 50 & 75 in EVG, I feel like the other APs could
be a real challenge, and spice up the APs section. +1

By the way, how can you cheat elite timed? (I was refered from elite forest to elite krypt)

If you need to run and kill as fast as you can?

Well yea friends aps is fine, i mean im neutral but they are enough useful as locations aps.. So I dont mind

Those altough easy are nice ideas as new ap.

Im just against the 25k kills mobs ap.. We already got 10k..its enough repetitive and boring, and I dont find a point in granting ap by opening elite gold runner chests.

The others are fine!

Just pointing out that about pet lvling in endgame maps I meant xp for the pet gonna work only to the endgame maps (last expansion maps).

So atm would be vardan valley maps, I don't think can be botted, I guess.

to be honest, I don't know how they cheat exactly, but I have seen posts created by other fellows in which they say they use some kind of program to cheat on Planar Arena. It is also timed, I wouldn't be surprised that they could use the same method with other maps, but if I'm wrong please correct me, as I have never wanted to dig deep into that thing of cheaters.

I like the one about deep marsh ,come on devs just let it be the holyday doors from nightmare before christmas :D

Oh I got you, I was not refered to Arena shuyal lb but to the maps in elite version (forest to krypt).

Also I don't suggest to make any aps impossible, just hard where its required some skills and decent gears, definitely not looking at arena.

That said, without bringing more fire to the fire as someone would like, the only kind of cheat I ve seen by screenshots on forum about arena was with fast clicking program or whatever it was I think cant be reproduced to run fast the other elite maps.

So wouldn't be a problem run elite maps beating Devs score as new Aps, if Community and Devs would like ofc xD.

sorry but i have to disagree. As a player who has just immersed themselves into the realm of hardcore, these aps ideas seem a bit hard for those of the hardcore players who are f2p and can’t get the best gear.

I made a thread about new aps, stop ruining every thread with your dramas, try give help to community, give opinions about GAME not players, if you are not able to do it then find another hobby instead of bullying others.

You are just too toxic.

As u say "White Knight in shining armor" is expressing some of his opinions about aps, and he is trying to hear the same thing from us, he didn't asked us to share negativity or drama..
If you dont have concrete answer on this thread, no need to express other "unwanted" answers.
