Increase Mythic Drop Rates Pls

Hi,

I think it's kinda hurting the game economy, and free to play players....

Massive chests are very cheap now, probably because people don't wanna open these chests due to the drop rate....

This is hurting the event.... the tier rewards are already bad... some players were hoping to make gold through the chests, and now that's out of option too...

Once agian its glorified gambling. Im already amazed that the community has gotten used to the idea of oh the best gear in a mmo comes from pay to win lootboxes...

Mythic items shouldn't be this hard to obtain nonethless.
+1 to increase the drop so the playerbase can actually work on new maps = therefore Rahabkor's liar will open at least 2 more times this year. xD

Please let us know how to make a game that's free but also allow devs to feed themselves. Where does the money come from? It amazes me that people think game servers and devs pay are free.

Its the First ever release crate with new Mythic wespons. They cant Give out already 1k weapons of each would destroy players Interest in them and their uniqueness.

I think it's already destroyed by the amount of locks being sold in auction XD

From the reduction in price of locks, it seems like not many people are eager to open the massive ones albeit them having 5x pulls.

All the assumptions xD better make topic about you want price to drop so u can buy it yourself. Ofc droprate is limited, it always has been that way.

Have u looked at the price of the massive winter locks throughout the year? It had 5x pulls and good rewards, ppl were opening them frequently so the demand stayed high.

Massive dead chests also have 5x pulls, but the price is next to nothing now, mainly cuz ppl aren't opening them much...

Selling massive chests is the only way for people to earn gold from this event. Plat tier, and gold tier rewards are trash, and bosses drop nothing good.

if you expect to get anything good from a few hundred plat then you probably haven't opened locked crates before. Try a few thousand plat and you might get 1 mythic.

I don't think you understand how economics work. Supply and Demand. The locked crates aren't super cheap because the demand is low. The demand is fine given how op the procs are. The locked crates are super cheap because the supply is through the roof. The crafting materials are less than 15k and a few tokens....what do you think those are going to sell for 100k+ forever? Not a chance, because anybody can make them with ease. Hence the large supply.

If you want those locks to have higher value then complain about the fact that locked marshland crates and locked valley crates have flooded the market, or ask sts to make it cost 3x of the old locked to make a new one instead of only 1x old locked. But even doing that wouldnt increase your profit margin so it doesn't really matter.

The locked crate recipes for tokens aren't intended to be a source of income. It's a way for sts to recycle old locked crates into new ones

i know how it works.. they are "mythic" and not arcane... i know the rarity don't have to let me know the mechanics ... i played since season 2 and open tons of plat crates since then till now..

I dont even get any decent vanity from opening the crates thats the point .

they shouldve thought this a long time ago . Arcane legend always been a game where it take more money from a single person rather than taking little money from many player .

There need to be a source of income for players.... and in this event its either graveyard location or the locks...

Now that locks are out of the question.... only things players can do is buy graveyard location for the next 3 weeks?

Im not a dev? So its not my problem to figure out. Anyone can see that the best gear shouldn't come from p2w lootboxes. Im suprised they can still operate these as they are with how much lootboxes have been in the news.. So if policies update to include lootboxes into gambling laws what will Sts then do? Instantly go bankrupt? If their only major source of income to the company is to sell gamblecrates then thats a flaw in the company.

But sure ill include some ideas i just thought off

- Have the gear be drop able in the new maps, would immediately solve how dead those zones are and would actually make a mmo feel like a mmo..? I know the idea is wild. Could also sell special potions that give x5 drop rate for the new gear or special plat paid zones with increased droprate so they still invest in actually running the maps and they get money for it. Win win

- you could make the new gear also craftable, make it a grind 'collect x amount of mystic shards to craft the hilt etc' you coukd even combine it with my first suggestion, so even if u dont get the drop you dont feel like youre wasting time

So for people who want to farm the new gear can do so and for people who want to swipe their creditcard can also do so.. Its wild were tackling the droprate of the new weapons from the gamblecrates when you should advocate for them to be more available

And there are many more suggestions i can probably come up with if i spend longer time thinking on it. But yea people saying 'how will they make money if you dont put the gear in crates??' My dude there are plenty of options but STS does it this way cause we as a community have accepted that best gear drops from gamblecrates and not from actual farming, which isnt the whole point of a mmo to FARM gear and not hope you get a nice dopamine hit from opening gamblecrates?

May aswell visit a casino.. sigh what has the game come too

How is this a new thing? There have been several lockeds that had extremly rare items in them without returning any other good loot. It has always been a gamble.
Valley lockeds drop almost every run with 100% luck, a locked every 30sec. Tokens are almost useless at vendor. Im pretty sure this is the reason why they are cheap.

Is absurd how many margaritas I bought the team and looted nothing. Don’t think I’ll try my luck again with this drop rate trick and no treats. Fooled me this time, gg sts.

Same how have i again invested over 200 usd and gotten nothing but 99% epics, 0.98% legendaries and 3 green artifacts. I feel like for 200 usd in a game you should be eligible to at least get a good item, not even saying it has to be for ur class…..

This is what I meant about the mythic drop rates and items.. Using hundreds usd and loot nothing. .. Something is wrong with the plat chest..
