iAmPvP's Guide to the l40 Forg Mage

Hey all!

As we all know, forgs have ruined l10-40 PvP. I doubt forgs are going to dissappear, so we might as well adapt to them. Today I would like to share my l40 Forg mage build!

My Build:

Stat Points:
80 int, Rest Dex

Gear:

Helm: l40 Horus Helm if you can find, if not l39 Snipers Scorpion Helm
Armor: l40 Horus Armor if you can find, if not l39 Snipers Scorpion Leather
Bow: Any l36-40 Forg will work fine, I use a l38 Minutely Forgotten Bow

Skills:
Buffs- 6
Lightning- 1
Heal- 6
Fire- 6
Drain-6
Ice- 6
Revive- 1
Mana Sheild- 1

Combos:

For Nuking:
Drain, Fire, Heal, Ice

For Surviving a Nuke:
Drain, Heal, Fire, Ice


Tip: Kiting is the key to all 1v1s. Learn your ranges.

Take out one in fire or heal...and put in ms.

That's why you don't need it!

Theres actually too much heal.
5 heal. Put 1 in ms.
Ms is OP. Thats why you need it.

Forg and guide are two words that won't work out well together.
When you have a forg, you don't even need a guide.

That makes so much sense^

And yeah, MS is very highly recommended.

Exactly my thought.

Worst guide ive ever seen.

Lolz idk anything about 40, its just on 35 mage I use 3/4 heal.
Either take outta point in heal or fire.
Or frost :P

IMO nuke mages don't need high heal.

Meh guide two forgoten aynd mahges!

Step one: buy an forgotten bow! Sence dey r so OP yu cahn get one up to 5 levels below yew and stille be gud! Even purples wurk!

Step two: Make sure to put 1 Ms, 3+ on heal and most emportant, 6 on fire and 6 on drain!
(Buffs arent necessary at low level but at 20+ make sure to have 6 on the one dat gives crit and daymage!)

Don't use any other points u haz cus u don't neede dem

Step three: Dah comboe fur mages iz ez!
buff, ms, drain, fire, auto, heal, leave game, rejoin, repeat

3 heal is way sufficient for any 1v1 based forg Mage, 6 is just overkill. In fact most from the 23-29 scene use only 1 heal. Overall cool guide, forg Mage isn't as luck based as one might think, the op damage and crit creates this twinking scene where it's almost guaranteed that the one who has the most skill at draining/kiting is the one who will win.

It says forg it has to be pro :P

-.- if u have not experience in 40 forg mage, just dont talk about it. Played 0.5 year with 40 forg mage, used alot of builds, but frost build s better than all.

6 buffs
1 ms
6 fire
6 drain
6 frost bite
1 light
6 heal (need for heal fast if nuke failed)
1 revive
