Of course I'll help you! Add skeletonlord in game and I'll be there! I'll give you a few tips as well. What level are you and class, commando, engineer or operative?
I'm a commando so I know the commando basics and what skills etc......

-Best tip i can give, buy health packs in guildhall lev 3 and Elix there too.
-money is hard to come by

I think one of the major mistakes one makes is not turning the auto level off,
If you hhaven't done so, check your settings :). You would want to increase one state only.

Let me add my 2 cents:
The main difference from PL (apart from less creds earned by selling stuff) is that you need to put all yo lvl-up points in one basic ability (int for engies; dex for operatives; str for coms) at least for first 50 lvls.
Also, all guns are lvl dependant and some of them are class dependant, so if you have a cannon while you are engie, you will never able to use it, so sell with no second thoughts..
Also, i'd advise you to check 'skill calculator' post made by Hans in the 'player guides' section on these forums. There you will see what skills you receive and what they are up to without spending plat. It will give you the bigger picture on which of them you want to invest and which lay aside
