Question about mana

After returning to Star Legends from being gone for...what, a year now? I joined right after beta but quit awhile later...

Anyways, I found I had a level 18 commando with like 1500 kills and no deaths. I still like the commando, but it seems engineers are much more efficient. However, I haven't tried endgame yet. My questions is- Which class does best in pve at end game? So far my commando has performed excellently but my mana gets used up like that. Will the commando improve in mana as I level higher? Or should I swap classes?

Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

The mana increases some as you level but you still have to use some mana potions if you are using your skills constantly (like me :3)

So yes it does increase as you level ;D

Mana for a Commando gets used up so quickly.
Personally my favorite is the Operative.

mana is a big issue for coms, just increase ur kinetic to gain more mana(even has an after affect of more damage :D ) and if u want some mana stims just ask me in game. I have like 800 mana stims that I never use..

i say eng is best in pve. put all attribute points to int nd u will b alive spamming empathy nd transference. bt ur eng will b mana starving from lvl25-lvl40. after tht u will hav no problems either on health or mana coz of implants nd weapons.
my eng(46) has 9mana regen nd from rev skill +1 mp regen buff it adds up to 10 mp regen.
so my mana is nvr dwn while doing any maps.

yep com has mana issue bt using skills wisely nd using kinetic skill frequently will make less issue.
btw lol u hav only 800?
i hav 4k+ red stims nd 6k+ blue stims.
all i hav farmed on my eng from lvl36 to lvl45 in hive map.

lol I never buy stims and I barely farm for em, I usually have 25 stims per char and that's it about 800 red n 1k blue atm

Commandos sometimes have issues with mana supply, it depends on your exact skill build and tactics. If you have a lot of crowd control skills, you'll burn through your mana a lot faster than if you use a survivability build like I do. I only use three of the taunt/crowd control skills, which frees up skill slots for stuff like Vigor and Kinetic Reservoir, both of which are very useful in endgame. All classes have trouble at endgame to due lack of consumables, but I feel that commando get off easy, since they have health and mana regen skills, a lot of stun/knockdown skills, and skills like Growing Rage and Increase Mass (which make commandos much more lethal and much tougher, respectively).

Lmfao, I never remember pressing any red or blue stims on my Engi.. :/

I have maxed Kinetic Res. and virtually never ran out of energy.
Personally, I think that if you have maxed Kinetic Res. and you still run out of energy it's probably b/c you like to spam skills, which is not recommended.

Usually the only times I spam skills are when I'm trying to gain/regain aggro or when I'm about to die.
