Preview - New Feature: Guild Events System!

Itching for a little competition outside of events?

We've got your back! The new Guild Event System will be arriving today with the opportunity for Guild Masters to create fun "mini events" exclusively for the guild members!

To get started, as a Guild Master you'll find a new icon in the Guild area of your social menu. Tap the trophy icon to open the Guild Event menu. There are currently 4 event types to choose from:

Each type will determine a winner based on the corresponding "count." Boss or monster (enemy) kills, election votes, or player kills (PvP). Choose your event type, a date and time to start, event duration (3, 5, or 7 days) set a guild message to tell your members more about the event, and then you're ready to begin!

Boss and monster Event Types can be activated for free, Election and Player Kill Events each cost one (1) "Guild Event Token." This currency can be found at the Guild Vendor, where you usually buy new guild halls.

Once the event is active, guild members can view them from the same Guild Events section of the social menu.

The leaderboard will be tallied automatically based on kill count, or, in the case of elections, when a player uses the "Vote" button to vote for another member. Once the event ends, there is a cooldown period of 24 hours to view the Leaderboard, allowing time for celebration and the granting of rewards!

At this time, rewards can not be set/granted automatically, but can be granted manually at the GM's discretion, if you decide to have them.

Future iterations of the system may include other event types such as racing, gauntlet, advancement/XP, and more! So stay tuned for future updates. In the meantime, we look forward to hearing what you think.

Just 2 small things that bug me tho, automatic grant of reward would be really nice!

And please put a restriction, 1 week in guild minimum to participate,

With those 2 things the system would be perfect!! :)

I fully agree with this 100%. I think 1 month should be fine cuz 1 week seems pretty short. 1 month would definitely discourage guildhoppers from joining hoping around guilds for their competitions.

Such good feature, can't wait to make some events for our guild.
Ps: any news about the vanities/Crypt Raid shown on last week's sneak peek?

thanks for new thing...hopefully notmany way to exploit this...hopefully same chance to win/be on lb for this event rwgardless of not dearest friend to the guildmaster or not that popular/hotshot between guildie

Greaaatt, this is such a nice addiction.
Maybe you can add in the future new features like.

Fund: donations where guildies can send gold/items to collect together for event prizes
(They can be used only by masters as a 2nd stash)

Titles: as prizes you can give the possibility to master to create titles to grant to event winners as reward

Duration: extend event duration adding 10 and 14 days please.

When I ll create the event? After some rest from this goblin XD

Nice feature!.. Finally something exciting for Guild members.. For me this will be more hype if there are some new position in Guild, so there will be a most exciting election xD

Am I missing a trick here because it doesn't seem the guild vendor has been updated to sell tokens ?

I know that you can go to Social > Guild > Settings > Shop and you'll see the Guild Event token kit at the bottom of the list. Will check to see if should be other places (and isn't). Thanks :-)

Can u make also untradeble tokens with gold too?

Agree with these things. Place additional rules. Like minimum participate and minimum level maybe.

+1 for this too. Ahhh nice things come to Arcane Legends. A good one !!!
How about the prize? Can officer giving prize too? So it can be add on for prize pool guild. Then GM can set the prize for all ranked on the guild event leaderboard.

I think maybe add also recruiting event
