Ebon weapons discussion thread

This thread is to highlight any of the current issues players are having with the new ebon weapons.

Ebon daggers
PvP and PvE: Great overall stats compensate for low proc damage (this proc damage is actually OK when you look at the dagger as a whole)

Ebon bow
PvP and PvE: No heavy damage overtime stated on the proc description actually exists (It was thought that this heavy DoT would compensate for the nerfed stats (pre-release) but that assumption was wrong). The current DoT and heal is so minimal that you can't actually tell damage is being done or you are being healed. The bow proc states that "enemies take heavy damage overtime" but it seems to be single target?

Ebon aegis
PvE: Reflected damage seems fine but could be higher considering the proc rate, proc mechanism and proc duration.

PvP: Reflected damage needs a serious buff (I'm thinking it's because in pve the proc ignores calculation of the warriors armor with regards to damage taken but in pvp it doesn't?)

Ebon blade
PvP and PvE: Good overall stats. Proc works as stated.

Ebon gun
PvP and PvE: Same issue as ebon bow

Ebon staff
PvP and PvE: Same reflection issue as ebon aegis and same heal issue as ebon bow and gun.

Looks good from testing. Some mages say they aren't satisfied even though the proc is on par or greater than ebon bow.

I don't know why I get thanked for logging in because nobody listens to me anyway but here goes. I was excited about the new Ebon bow. So much so I spent almost all my gold on it because I hate using daggers. I have to say that I am disappointed in it's performance. I was using the dread bow and it's proc was better in my opinion. There..I have said it but nobody will listen to meeee....😑

Thankfully Cinco is looking into all of the ebon weapons, he just needed the details so no worries :)

I would like to see when ebon actually reflects it shows reflect when we fight alpha wolf so i dont understand why ebon staff dosnt show reflect.

Read and review My comment.
As i stated in that video the proc is fine and the dmg dealt by proc is good any higher and the weapon becomes over powered
If you slow the video down the proc lasts 6 seconds long and does about 20 ticks within 6 seconds, every tick deals 100-300(crit) now times those dmg by 20
Lets say the average dmg is 150dmgx20(ticks)= thats 3000 dmg being dealt within 6 seconds
compare that to TB being dealt by dingodine in the video, everytime Dingo Proc-ed TB the dmg dealt is around 370 dmg now watch carefully because everytime dingo proc TB
Maroos walks away from the proc which means it does less dmg, You can see on time line 0:08-0:15 maroos didnt walk away so you can see the full dmg of TB proc being dealt
which is 370 dmg per tick for 5 seconds long, in saying that its possible to walk away from TB proc so that it does less dmg than it is to avoid the DOT from Ebon Sword.
Now pay attention to timeline 1:10 Maroos did his last attack on dingodine proc-ing Ebon and as you can see in the video maroos is busy typing,
in the timeline 1:23 you can see just how much hp dingodine lost from the proc of Ebon sword compared to his previous hp when maroos proc-ed Ebon at 1:10

The devil is always in the details

Side Note:
Dmg being dealt to boss is different, I ran event with Ebon and remember dealing 1k-1.5k(crit) to syrillax whenever Ebon proc-ed
Also if you want to kill boss solo you dont rely on proc like mages use DS, you use your skills like rouges (I wont go into details with this, what I am saying is that tanks can be like rouges in the face of a boss)

So what should i buy?..ebon aegis or sword??i can only afford one cus i bought terror blade aweek ago..what good for war in pvp now?aegis or sword?wat about in pve?aegis or sword?.. iam confused what to buy cus i can only afford one weapon..hope someone can help me..ty n advance😂😂😂

I will also like to see reflected word on mobs like 'charm' or "inflicted"...

The gun process needs to be buff still very low process rate

Would you be kind to upload a video using warriors weapons on PvE? Is Fortress good to tank on swamp map or mauso?

Ebon gun completely sucks should've saved a bit more gold and got the staff... I got suckered in by its "heavy damage" description only to realize after droping tons of gold and selling my old gear how bad this item is.... One of my biggest disappointments in Al

The staff is actual garbage. The gun is the better option. If you prefer staff you might as well go play warrior.
