Restore & Drain Life in PvP

How useful are these skills in PvP?

Drain Life - Steal 140HP from your opponent (maxed out)
I have pulled it off with Drain Life a couple of times killing my opponent but it is no Heal replacement as it is slow and can't eliminate status ailments.

Restore - 40HP + 5HP x 5 sec = 65HP in 5 sec (maxed out)
As for Restore, would that give an edge in PvP. Perhaps on a one on one scenario, say you escape for 5 sec to regenerate and cool-down and use restore to give that low HP a bit of a boost. I have never tested restore yet as I am still training my Bird and Ursan.

Your thoughts and experience please

Restore is useful for the exact reason you stated !! when you get away from the fight you have that time for cooldowns and regen so you hit restore and meditation to speed it up !!
