Arcane Legends Client 1.5 Released! Tons of New Features!
Hey folks! What an exciting day! The much anticipated update, Arcane Legends Client 1.5 has arrived! Here's the full rundown of what you can expect in this update.
Skill Mastery
We recently announced Skill Masteries in a Coming Soon post, here: http://www.spacetimestudios.com/show...-Skill-Mastery! Skill Masteries are an expansion of the current Skill System. Use your skill points to boost stats for certain skills, and create a more powerfully customized build for each of your characters. Check out the above announcement for more specifics and details. Skill Masteries become available to players 20+.
In order to get the most out of Masteries, we've granted all players 5 Respec Scrolls to their stash to experiment with new builds. Have fun, and don't forget to post your builds and guides on the forums to help other players! Our moderators will be on the lookout for the best guides to promote to the Player Guides section.
UI Changes
We've made a number of interface changes in this update to help with communication, clarity and ease of use.
Tooltips
Sometimes, there's more to an item that meets the eye. Many items in the game now have an 'i' info button in your inventory. You can tap or click on that button to reveal a tooltip that will give you extended information on that particular item. Take the Glintstone Armor for example:
With tooltips you'll be able to get clear and specific information on things like procs, set bonuses and more. We've also added new icons to indicate whether an item is tradeable or stashable.
Crate UI
Ever wondered what could from that crate you're about to open? Well now you can see it all! The new Crate UI can be accessed by tapping or clicking on the 'i' button on any crate icon in your inventory.
Navigate through the tabs to see what might drop from the crate from gear, to pets, to jewels.
Instant Pet Level Up!
As soon as the 56 cap drops, my Arcane Deary won't be feeling very Arcane at 46, but...in the Client 1.5 you can skip the grind and instantly level your pet up to your current level. Pet level ups will cost 3 plat per level. In the below example, it would cost 30 platinum to level my Deary from 46 to 56. Pets can only be leveled to your current player level, and not above or below.
Crafting Inventory Changes
As Arcane Legends grows and more craftables are added for each event and expansion, our inventories are stacked to the brim with essences, jewels, fangs, hearts, parchments and more! Now, in client 1.5, crafting elements no longer take up precious inventory space! Of course, there's still a cap to how many crafting items will fit in your bag. Even though they won't take up your inventory slots, crafting items will be limited to 250
Pet Stable Sort Order
There are over 130 pets in Arcane Legends. Whew! That's a lot of critters to keep up with. One of our most community requested features this year was a more navigable Pet Stable. Now--pets will automatically sort themselves to help lift your favorite and most used pets to the top of the list. Pets will now be sorted by Level & Rarity. So your top level Arcane and Mythic pets will filter to the top, while your lesser used pets will sink to the bottom of the list. Order is as follows: Level > Rarity > Alphabetical.
Duels
Got that itch to duel but don't want to go through your friends list or find your rival in town? Dueling becomes even easier this update with the addition of the /duel command. Just type in /duel Player Name (ex: /duel Remiem) and you will automatically send that player a duel request wherever they are. En garde!
We've also update Duel Requests to show player level, so you know what you're up against before you enter the duel arena. Plus, there is now a countdown timer to each match and we've updated the settings to clear out any skill-spawned effects (like health packs) at the start of each new round.
Elite Timer Toggle
Sometimes you just want to run some elites without the pressure of the timer overhead. No problem! Timed elites now have the option to toggle the timer before the run begins. Hang out in Elite Wilds as long as you'd like, no one's judging you here! Removing the timer will also give friends and party members the ability to join a map that is already in progress under the same rules of normal maps.
Juggernaut Changes Return
Another one of our hot community topics--the Juggernaut changes that we announced late last year have returned for client 1.5. Here's a look at what to expect with Juggernaut:
Base Juggernaut: Grants you Juggernaut for 15 sec, temporarily increasing your max health by 17.5% of your armor, or 25% if charged.
This is a change from a flat 300 HP and 500 HP when charged. Now it scales!

Juggernaut's Bring it On: Charged Juggernaut now also taunts nearby enemies, and increases armor by 15% of your total Strength.
This is a change that adds additional armor as a bonus to the taunt
Elixirs
Elixir kits will now increase the duration of your elixir timer, adding 30 mins for each elixir consumed.
Bug Fixes
A number of bugs have also been squashed in the build of 1.5. Here's a look at the list:
+ Fixed a bug with joystick not appearing in PvP zones after opening elixirs.
+ Fixed pets not becoming summonable if you get too far away from them in PvP
+ Fixed a bug where pet happiness icons were sticking around after a person zoned.
+ Shadow Storm Shot now auto-aims appropriately
+ Shadow Storm Shot upgrades now stack correctly.
Expansion!
The one big thing that usually comes with clients that we haven't mentioned yet--the expansion!! Yes, the expansion is coming up fast, but it's not quite here yet.
