Pocket Legends IRONMAN mode

Not sure if this has been recommended before, but how about: A pocket legends Ironman mode.

Let me explain, Ironman mode would essentially be a mode that you select as you create a character making it so that you cannot trade in the game. The only equipment your character can equip is those that you drop. This concept was taken from Runescape and it was very successful in renewing the OSRS player base. A character that isn't able to trade makes every drop more meaningful while creating a new goal in the game for a veteran or maybe returning / new players.

Maybe if Ironman is successful they could consider even hardcore Ironman one that when it dies it loses its “hardcore status”

I think an Ironman mode to pocket legends would come with massive benefits, on top of that it probably wouldn’t be to hard to implement (just make it so the character can’t trade and give them a unique title). By having an Ironman mode:
-There would be more incentive to play the campaign again
-Give the veteran player a new goal
-Freshen up the game
-An influx of elixir purchases
-Not hard to develop

They should not be able to buy elixirs. That would make it too easy.

Daily Blessing should also probably be locked for these toons.

Yeah, a 3x would make Ironman Mode a breeze.

This would be great! Maybe Ironman players could trade with other Ironmans? but not use the CS? That way it would encourage working in a party to exchange drops

This exists in al and is popular, the specifics there are that a "hardcore" toon has one life, it cannot trade OR access cs, & there are apps involved with making one or several classes.
Also if a HC died it had the option to rez for a hefty bit of plat but lost all xp & apps for the LB but kept items.

While I agree in spirit that it would be cool if no money was involved, in al there are many ppl who either did pay plat for elixirs and whatnot, & those who did all they could for free to get apps. It didn't end up being beef between either for the most part, and those who did pay plat ridiculously just help both sides & sts.
We might have fun with a mode that involved no plat or any monetary advantage, but that doesn't give the devs a reason to adopt this mode. (Example; lvl 1 toons)

In al a hc toon does get dailies, but the blessings in pl are longer lasting if I remember (if nothing's changed sense I've not farmed a while) so I might agree with you on this one.

All that is needed is to give them a separate colored name as it is in al, the fact that this mode is tough makes any minor reward like names or titles, insta op flex, & hopefully give any plat whales a new reason to compete with each other.
