I did not know that bosses could get hit% above 100% - if that is the case, then unless you hit a threshold for dodge then some of it would indeed be useless.

If armor is 0.00047 then you get 0.0188 mitigation from the 40 armor (or 1.88% more ehp) - that is less than the 2.66% dodge that you would get since the dodge...
