i updated to newest graphics driver and got around this issue on my desktop.
my laptop i got the same result after the update so i am guessing i dont have a strong enough vid card on the laptop to...

it would take alot of extra work,... but have mounts been discussed? i.e. horses, dragons ect. you can ride that increase your speed a bit?

have also had the same issue. Its a double edged swd, load balancing v. annoyance of having to join sometimes rather than enter towne.
