Not quite. Forgotten Bows are very effective as well, and can beat this setup. CB is also not very smart as the 3m range cripples you, I'd prefer Vengeful Slash as it's more important in Bear V Bear...

The first build is quite difficult to adapt to, I used it myself a long time ago. You should take some points out of Evade/Taunt and get more beckon for this to actually be very effective against...
