But I was playing around with an event idea (see link in first post) when this idea hit me...equip that provides skills that are...

What do you all think of having skill items (items that can be equipped that grant an extra skill). These items could also have upgrade gems (just as class skills have upgrades).

So what other ideas do you have to balance out for guild size? Ignoring how active a specific player is...just number of people in a guild?

Like I said the dividing points is an idea to balance the points by number of people in the guild.

If there are 5 people in the guild, they can (for example) achieve 100 points a day each (just...

Dps is for basic attacks (normal weapon sttacks)
Damage is for skills.

Regardless which weapon you use.

Why not do a guild based event instead of a solo event (ursoth's was a solo event as it was every person for themselves, individual rankings).

As far as i can see, guilds only serve a couple minor...

Ideas for gaining:


Implement specializations for classes through a specific questline. each specialization would have a different...

To go along with that path idea...each path could get a different special perk from skills.

Example fireball skill.
Witch - +1% dodge on charged fireball for 3 seconds
Adept - +2% attack speed...

Why not do skill evolving.

For example, introduce new skills that old skills change into if you meet certain prerequisites. Like fireball (going with op's choice of skill)...can be upgraded into...

The game mechanics are basically the same. there is the virtual joystick for moving, you have skills/spells things unique to each class, you get 5 points to give to str/dex/int, you get 1 skill...
