Losing money because they thought they could use it in SL not just PL. Who wants 800 plat sitting in PL when SL is about to come out....Seriously...

they should at least give us a one time deal that whatever plat we have at the launch of SL we can choose how to split it up between PL and SL and then after that all purchases are game specific....

point is that they assured us all along that it would be generic, then did a backflip. and who says that's the reason for approval anyway?

Oh and that OP should have started like this "We apologize to everyone who has bought platinum with the intension of using it in SL..." and then maybe ppl wouldn't be so annoyed. But no explanation...

I too bought 800 plat in anticipation of SL being released and the PLAT being able to be used for both games. This is a very disappointing move by STS...anyone who disagrees go read the forums...STS...

I'm assuming it's the cult crypts level...

Just had an idea! How would people feel about paying say 75 platinum for a permanent 2x XP or even 3x XP on a character. I think that would be way better. A permanent XP elixir!

lol, yeah I guess they are really just there for rich people. It's crazy cos it's not like your actually buying anything at all, all you're buying is some sort of stat boost for a limited amount of...

So I put together a chart to show what the new platinum elixirs cost in real world dollars. I did separate columns for each method of buying plat, based off:
-30 plat for $4.99
-75 plat for $9.99...

Done. But I also wanted to see what 'General Discussion' ppl would have about elixirs.
