better to have both skratch gun and skratch staff for end game items..
they can be combo and gives so much dmg.
as a newbie i honestly skip ebon staff to buy skratch gun instead.. then keep gold.....

Good Base pet so far is samael for dot.
Put electra for dmg or arm zhu for dmg and bd. You dont really nead to be tanky.. just enought to handle mobs cuz you have...
