Cool, thanks! :)
I find RS very beneficial in tombs, while shooting using arrows. Using RB (as any other skill) is all about timing.
Offensively, RB can clear out dying mobs in an instant, you'll be like a walking...
I just want to clarify this. Nox bolt tick damage stacks with other rogue's Nox bolt right? But not on a consecutive nox bolt hit?
I mean if the enemy already has a nox bolt tick damage, the tick...
For tomb mobs and its narrow passages, I shoot Nox from afar and seldom stay in my smoke. I just deploy my smoke for the tanks (which they love and appreciate).
It's not about being a 'poison', its the damage that counts, DoT.
My only issue with Nox bolt is that it generally has no decent animation of its effect that's why other classes don't perceive it...
I saw your point regarding the spinning freedom upgrade the moment, I walked on an ice patch in Nordr Lol. However I can manage to dodge those so I still didn't get the upgrade. It's just an upgrade...
For PvE I'm thinking of using charged Nox + AS + RS and daggers for mobs and I'll switch to bow + AS + tap Nox for bosses.
If I decide to permanently stick with a bow and find that I no longer see...
IMHO, I'd choose a guaranteed 5% damage than a 5% crit gamble. When I max out damage that's the time I'll put some on crit. A skill point is just too precious to spend only on a 1% crit gamble.
For RS (3/5), minus the bleeding and spinning freedom upgrade. However I see others getting the spinning freedom upgrade even in PvE.
Care to share why would you spend a point on the spinning...
What's the advantage of a bow rogue? Do epic/legendary bows deliver higher damage compared to epic/legendary daggers?
AND will I still find RS useful when I start using bows? or will I expect...
As a rogue:
1. Party Leavers / quitters
2. Party snobs leaving immediately after a good run without at least saying 'thanks', social courtesy anyone? We just shed blood and pots together! Lol
3....
Thanks! :)
Can we make this sticky? I'm new to this forum, and I really find this thread useful to understand the lingo on this thread. :)
Can I add: PT - party (players are always shouting PT - to party)
...
Yes technically the SP do multiple hits on a single target but I believe this multiple low damage hits is not animated, only the coming out of pierce is animated.
As long as you enjoy your daggers and being in the front line. Plus its fun to dash around maps. IMHO, I think the most effective combo for a front line rogue is SP + RS + SV, your tank would also...
How come? I thought what matters is damage and crits, which would surpass any map.
When I used to use SP - for single targets, I use AS instead. But what I remember is that the SP upgrade targets 3 different target in sequence (pots, jars, etc are considered as a target), and would...
It makes sense. If a rogue is aware of the common PvE builds, this clearly shows the difference of a PvP build. Settling in finding a common mixture of both builds usually looses effectiveness for a...
Yup, that's what I meant. Thanks!
It's hard to do a Noxbox in narrow passages ex: Tombs. I wouldn't risk passing thru the mobs just to place a proper noxbox.
With another Rogue we finished tombs and its narrow passages by shooting...
Right, I can still take advantage of the extra damage bonus of SV + AS + Nox. Though I will have to adjust and fight from afar.
Since I won't be in the grind anymore, I might give up RS, and switch...
^ For real? Oh man that's a new ball game for me and messes my build!
My current rogue is all about Dodge. Dash. Damage. So currently my SP + RS (+ SV - when mobs get thicker) works for me, being...
Hi Fellow players,
I can't find/search this specific topic in the forum threads.
But I just want to confirm, does Nox Bolt's damage neglect armor? Since strictly speaking its a 'poison gas'....
