Honestly, I'd say 25/30 of his posts are from making new threads about anything to do with a cap.
I have never bought a paid elixir the entire time I've been playing PL, and I'm currently a lvl 76. It took me 1 month, 2 weeks, and 2 days to get from 75 to 76. Lots of those days, I didn't play at all because of huge exams the next day or an all night track meet. If I had played every single day, I probably could have done it in a little less than a month. It is possible to cap without elixirs, you just have to strategically use your free 5 min elixir and your daily blessings so they can have the largest impact.
All I know is recently been wanting to cap on mage and the xp requirements is ridiculous. 8+k just from 71 to 72, its like sts new this cap was going to be around for awhile.
