    Default Sugg: Real guild bank?

What would you being the players of SL think If guilds have a bank built in there Hall?

Ex: I go in to get stims for discount and the gold automatically goes to the bank and the GM can set it to what gold amount each player can take out every month, week, yr?

    Need your feedback! Thanks(:

A very good idea but maybe you could place items in the bank for any guild member to use.

This would lead to griefers... People running into guilds and taking all the money they can, then leaving.

Yup the common respect between players seems to be lost in this game. I think having an actual guild bank would be taken advantage of. Either by the guild leaders or members out to make so noise.

It's a great, practical idea! But I can see some people getting swindled because of it

I like the idea of the bank where anyone can use the items but I would agree it would be abused. I think there should be a lending feature in the trade window where u can give your item to someone, but it automatically comes back to you after a certain amount of time

agreed for pl too, only big issue is who would be the banker to approve the transactions, and a guild stash... then the equip could be lent out too

I like the idea! Also, common stash is what i wanted long ago

And concerning griefers - this is a conceptual matter! As long as we will think of people as griefers they will be griefers. I stand for trust. At least, for the chance to be trusted.

As a grief-proof, this feature can be accessible only for guild officers

Also, this will make GMs more picky when recruiting

I was thinking more of an items only thing. You stash unneeded items for guild mates to use. The person can not trade or give the item or even stash it. If the player is kicked, the item is put back into the stash. Of course, then there's the problem of someone in a large guild taking an item then denying it so no one knows who has it. Would be handy IMO

There are too many problems. It would be nice to implement, but only if the donor had a mechanism for getting their original items back if:

    1. They need their items back

    2. Borrower refuses to give back

    3. Borrower leaves guild

    4. Borrower becomes inactive

    5. Borrower is banned

Going to have to second WhoIsThis's worries. Friend of mine suggested, if guild shared bank was implemented, if someone leaves they only get a fixed percentage of total guild assets OR x amount of credits, whichever is lower (IE 10k credits or 1%.) My fear is drama will be induced in larger guilds just to gt funds/items removed from them... or 'for the lulz'.

People complain. After all we have people who complained when the chrome jetpacks came back. We have people complaining about the complainers and that's a non-functional vanity item. Can only imagine the arguing done when it's actual functional equipment, or worse crafted stuff, that's on the line.

What if a feature could be added where so the guild member can put in a request for an item/items and before they can obtain it, it would have to be approved by either GM or an officer. This would eliminate people being able to clear out the bank or abuse the system.

The GM would just have to be selective over who he/she promotes to officer.

You could also add a rank like something called "banker" and those people along with GM would have the authority to approve any transactions.

It could work the same way with borrowed items.

This works well in World of Warcraft, silly not to have it here.

how about "temporarily borrow?" If you take anything from the guild bank, you can only have it for 24hrs, you can not trade, stash or sell it. After 24hrs, the item on character will automatically go back to the bank.
The purpose of having a guild bank is not to make someone rich.

hmmm, maybe if they allow like members are allowed to donate, but officers and master are allowed to take out as well since they are loyal and trusted. Either that, or we allow another promotion like "secretary", a person/s who is able to access the guild bank
