MAge glitch, wind speef upgrade?

On my new mages i have the speed upgrade but it doesnt actually give me a boost. It shows the buff sign on my screen but doesnt give me anything..

Anything i should do?

I already tried respecing.
No effect.

Help plox, timed runs soon.

You can only increase your speed to 25% above normal. If you already have a speed elixer the upgrade of gale will not do anything for you. Also if you have a pet with a speed boost such as slag, kettle, shilo, etc. you will not see much of a difference when you get the speed boost. Finally charged skills often fail as has been discussed many times in forums. If it is only occasional, it may be that part of the charged skill is failing...

Edit: oh, also doesn't work when you are carrying a flag. I also think that any other movement impairing effects from enemies also nullifies the effect...
