Does anyone actually use Curse?

Sorcs are great! We have the Fireball that burns everything!, we have the ligtning bolt with "Shocking" accuracy
,we have the powerhousing lifegiver! And then theres the... Whats it called again? Oh yeah! The completely forgotten Curse spell! I may not be one to judge but it is a waste of space to anyone who is unfortunate enough to buy it. It may debuff an enemy but if your playing as a sorcerer and you need to dispose of an enemy to help a friend it wouldnt exactly be the first spell you would sudgest.

What are your thoughts?

Did you see today's update, or is this just a coincidence? I think with the new change it remains to be seen whether or not this will be a viable skill...

While it is sitting on cooldown, a Sorcerer can unleash insane damage. The paladin mirror damage skill could be promising with a strong tank but in general a sorcerer would die taking damage.

I'm kind of curious how it works...I think I'll be testing it today maybe it will be worth it >_>
Update: it doesn't seem like a high % of damage being reflected back :/ got hit with a 455 and he got Hit with a 85....

Im hoping for a free respect to try out the added affect of the curse skill. Before this update, ive seen like 1/100 mages actually use this skill. But now with the reflective damage it might change things if the amount of dmg reflected is a high percentage. But im iffy at the thought of my mage taking mass amounts of dmg, seeing that we are the lowest hp class.

when reading a little and looking at the curse skill, it reminds me a little like fireball upgrades like extended area / additional damage and longer duration. maybe a good combo for this new update and fireball together.

Just imagine if a rouge is curse and they shoot at you with arrows they take the damages too

It sadly doesn't work like that...I tried it lol. >_< does minimal damage when they crit high D:

dang, than this skill is not that good, i thought it would be like reflection damage from Alpha wolf

Lol they probubly already saw the problem with this skill before and made this update, which supposedly increase its effectiveness of it.

Lol it would increase the effectiveness if it had a fixed % of how much damage it reflexs. I'd say 30% reflect would be a good fixed % o_O not to overpowered but still very effective.

curse skill imo is hopeless, just got a lil improvemnt.
I dont see it benifiting for me but for a lil dmg benificial for my team in pvp.

in pve, i would rather use shield/heal -time - fire - ice than dropping one for curse.
the CC from my offensive skills i choose is way better than the debuff benifits given by curse.

i still think its way to be part as an upgrade than bein a skill.

In a way, it's a relief to know curse still isn't very useful. I didn't look forward to messing with my skills.

Samhayne said there will be a free respec event in the near future, so save your plat, if you want to try it out.

also one devs said that there will be more skill refinement coming. but as of now, its not worth it.
