happy halloween achievement bugged
Me and my party ran this all day each of us didnt get hit 4 different times and granted to achievement. I have heard from many others they dont get hit and still now achieve. It's rare enough to encounter ruger with pumpkins but for it not to work sucks . Please look into this and grant us achievement and fix this problem , Ty .

Yeah, me and a friend on seperate occasions also beat rutger with pumpkins pretty sure that we did not
get hit by a pumpkin, but got no achievement. Don't know if this is bugged. I hope not. It takes long enough
to just get this boss with pumpkins, let alone beating him without getting hit by pumpkins. Anyone else
get the achievement after the most recent update to fix the arena?
This is a huge issue I mean I can show u video of me not getting hit and got no achievment....bug needs to be fixed

I have received this achievement two times this morning. Any further details on how to replicate not getting the achievement?
I've avoided getting hit by the pumpkins on 2 occasions. Is there something else stipulated that we aren't understanding? Like.. Can you not attack the pumpkins? Does everyone in your party have to not get hit by the pumpkins? Can you not use elixers? I'm just firing in the dark here bc it seems odd that it appears no one on the server has gotten this achievement.
On a side note - is there some secret to getting the challenger to appear? I ran with a group for 8 hours yesterday and Nada.
Yeah Jex I thought the same thing, but nobody I my party was hit by them and we still didn't receive the achievement. As for challenger to appear I'm yet to see it.Originally Posted by Jexetta

Hey all,
what seems to work is to stay near lamps... then you only trigger a few pumpkins... avoiding them is much easier like that.. Same goes for spiders... stay in one spot!
No luck on the flags yet... any tips are welcome on that front guys!

Also don't die (and use plat revive) or you will not get the achievement. Trust me, it is a pain to have to do this over again when you did not take care with your health and you died during the boss fight only to have everyone else but you get the achievement.
In terms of the flags. If you have a speed elixer or speed pet it is easier to outrun the crystals that spawn from the one that follows you. Just run in a large circle around the edges of the arena, taking care not to get near your teammates and the boss. Without the speed elixer is seems pretty hopeless for a sorcerer, as we dont have pierce or skyward to escape. Also an interesting glitch I saw one game... if someone has died and uses regular revive, if they stand as close as they can on the other side of the barrier, the crystal will often spawn with them and cannot harm that player or anyone fighting the boss. In one game two of us were sitting in "timeout" and the crystal cycled between the two of us for a while sparing our friends fighting the boss. There are also other glitches that I cant divulge, sorry...
We've been having difficulties getting the Happy Halloween achievement, too. One in the party got it (so nobody got hit by pumpkins), two of us didn't. None of us died and revived. Maybe it's because the one who got the achievement had been on "Rutger hunt" and invited us when he found him? We joined in only then. The fight hadn't started or anything, but that's the only thing I can imagine influencing the achievement granting.
