Swamp items comeback

I think in the next new dudgeon you should bring back swamp pinks at higher levels, like you did with ao2 pinks into ao3 at higher levels. I miss the epic swamp items now that I'm level 46. They all had great stats, and it'd be awesome if you could bring em back at higher levels, along with new pinks for the next dudgeon. I wanna collect voodoo, copperhead, and zombies again!!!!!

I don't understand. Why swamp pinks? They were slightly less powerful versions of AO1 and AO2 pinks. Mamboza was watered down Thoth, Zombie was slightly inferior Isis, Copperhead was a weaker Horus, and Swamp Rat was less powerful Osiris. Anyway, if they do bring back Mamboza/Zombie, or Thoth/Isis, I hope they are careful about which classes can use which, and how many items there are. In the swamps it was balanced. Warriors had a couple Zombie options but no Mamboza. Mages had a couple of each. Archers had mostly Swamp Rat and Copperhead, but also 1 Mamboza piece. In AO1 regen became incredibly imbalanced and caused several classes to all but disappear from the game. In AO2, the solution was to give full Thoth, and full Isis to every class, and that was just too much IMO. I like things much better the way they are now. I think warriors need some gear with a bit of M/s, and archers need some slightly better H/s gear, but overall it's pretty balanced gearwise. I am sure they will add more sets to AO3 in the future, I just hope they manage to keep regen appropriately distributed now.

another reason is that the swamp pinks look awesome too. I was disappointed with the looks of the ao2 items, as none of them look nearly as good as some of the swamp. also sets were a lot of fun to play with, and they would be fun to bring back too. Plus i think there's a lot more versatility in the swamp items. ao2 pinks got old fast. for warriors, Once you got an isis spear, helm, plate, buckler, and a shock lance, theres basically nothing good left to get, because all of the osiris and horus and thoth and conqueror's and legend are terrible compared to isis. It's probably similar for mages and birds too. Lastly I think swamp items are more rewarding to get when you find them. It might take 10 tries in bayou boss brawl to get 1 rare pink, but when you finally get it, it feels really good. Whereas in ao2, you usually get at least 1 or 2 pinks every run through on plasma pyramid. Maybe it's just me, but i think swamp pinks are a lot more fun to collect than ao2 pinks.

I agree Royce. Isis and Thoth in AO2 is out of control. The H/s and M/s in AO3 is much better. Must agree there should be SOME M/s on STR gear however. With a full set of Rift gear warriors should get 6 M/s.

The other issue with AO3 gear is the focus on Crit%. I can't see the reason for this. I'd much prefer all Rift gear to have Dodge% rather than Crit%.

IMO i think next l33t dungeon will be a swamp theme (Jurassic Park FTW) so it will definitely be a given. i say they supply lots of bleed proc weapons to go with it.

I don't think you understand the idea. I want to be able to play ao3 (or whatever the hardest dugeon is in the next update) using swamp pinks. You cannot win in ao2 with swamp pinks, you have to use ao2 pinks, whcih i found too be disappointing, and i like the swamp ones better. Tbe ao3 items are better than the ao2 ones, but i still think a swamp items comeback would be awesome.

First off, You CAN beat ao2 using swamp pinks, my lv 35 soloed lv 5.
2nd off , if u suck that bad, use lv 45-50 pinks... Plain and simple?

I liked the swamp items.
I think it would be cool to bring them back in next dugeon.

another thing is that i liked the rarity of the swamp pinks. a lot less drops than ao2. if they bring them back they should the rarity the same.
