does putting points in passive damage actually increase anything. my stats don't change like they do with other options, or is all in the back end and you don't see it but its there?

Passive damage works it's just a very old know bug for STS where you're stats don't change. If u wasn't to test it fire a few shots of you re weapon without passive DMG, notice you' re damage outputs. Since it's free respects, respect you're char with passive DMG and do it again. You'll see the difference in you're DMG output.
