There is nothing wrong with hiding, in ffa its just taking advantage of your suroundings and in 1 v 1 it's often taking advantage of your class for example a l.17 bear is good when tree hugging and a l.17 mage is good at kiting in open areas, using your trees here is necessary to win against a mage.

Only when both classes are the same in 1 v 1 hiding is sorta lame... :/
