Buying gold with plat- worth it? Plat related questions.

Platinum. When purchased, it gives you an edge. But is that edge worth it?

I recently bought 2550 plat for 90.00$ usd. I was planning in capping, but upon further investigation, the 60m bonus elixir (the moat costly one) only grants 60% exp bonus.

Anyways.

My question:
Is spending all that plat on the elixirs worth it? Will i run out of plat before I cap? Also, i was planning I spending 1k plat to get 1 mil. Since I'm relatively new, I'm asking advice in both these topics. Thank you.

With this economy, not really. I mean you could pro ally fully equip a rouge or warrio with the good pinks but not mythic. Sorc you'd probably spend around 300k unless you want l31 fire squid

Not really, however 1M can get you a foothold towards buying things in AH and starting your merching career.

If you're going to use that 1M on gear, I'd say no.

However, if you're going to spend 1M and then buy a bunch of AH slots to utilize that 1M effectively, then I'd say go for it.

To cap, buy the 60m combo, the 50% luck, and the 7 day luck elix, they all stack. You have PLENTY of plat to reach cap, it takes about 8 hours of solid grinding (with those 3 elixirs).

After that, you use it for plat revives (too lazy to walk back), crates, maybe buy a pet or two that you want (I like slag, 250pl). Could buy the luck pendant, sell it for gold (better rate than buying gold directly).
