Freeborn!

We have the following guiding principles:

We want to cater to gamers of all abilities, providing for casual gamers who just want to play with like minded people as well as more competent and competitive gamers who want organised training sessions with matches against other guilds.

We are a guild of grown-up gamers (21+) and we can hopefully attract people with a wide range of ages.

We want to have a good mix of male and female members and may advertise specifically to try and attract more ladies. We do not discriminate against anyone for reasons of sexual preference, race, background, religion etc. We are politically neutral.

Ultimately we want Freeborn to represent for all our members through the forum and in-game. Members must help other members in any way they can.

There will be no skill requirements for joining the guild, and minimal rules about required forum use / game attendance, however, we do require the use of mic with Skype in game so that we can communicate with one another and increase the overall enjoyment of the game. We want to encourage and help the better players to be in a competitive team. For the more competitive we will look to set up friendly guild pvp matches with outside guilds and organise things within the guild. In time we hope to have a more competitive/practised group of players to represent us in Gamebattles. We will encourage our better players to help those who want to learn more.

The minimum membership rule: You must have a registered Skype Account and a working mic/headset in order to get vouched for. We must see evidence of at least one visit/post on the forum each month and that you are joining other Freeborn members for games. If minimum membership is not seen you will be set to guest and then after a further month deleted. Members who can't get to a PC at least once a month, or will be away for a while should let us know and we'll cater to it.

We will welcome members who are not comfortable with using a PC for whatever reason, as long as they have a member who can introduce them on the site, relay the COC and important news to them and vouch for their good character.

Our focus is on Star Legends but some other games from spacetimestudios do get discussed.

We want members from the world over.

New members will be classed as recruits until a full member can vouch for them and we recognise that they have the right attitude towards our guild. To be vouched for you must communicate with a officer. You will be classed as a recruit once you have posted an introduction about yourself on the forum.

We want the guild to grow and be successful and will welcome all ideas for improvement.
