Another Way to Earn Gold?

Imo AL needs a little influx in economy (there's a giant gap between mythical/arcanes n pinks) so here's an idea...

Farming.

No, not the elite farming. I mean growing crops and selling the produce!

For e.g I purchase a farm for 50k gold (accessible through world map). In it, I can buy crops to plant, and when they're finished, harvest em n sell em in the cs or another market for gold.

Or...

These crops could sell for tokens which could sell for gold. A haystack=2 tokens=2000g.

Just wishful thinking, but maybe thisll be useful.

Better yet item crafting... Farm for components from maps. Combine components using a blacksmith NPC or a forge in the guildhall etc...

THIS would stimulate the economy.

Let the crafter be 'specced' for crafting and that way in order to do so you'd have to respec. This would keep farmers farming those components and selling them in the cs.

Once the proper items are combined the formulas create unique items with stats that are'rolled' for based on the quality of the components added.

The higher level the dungeon the higher level the components that drop. There should be hundreds of components that would create thousands of unique and different items.

I think this would add such a unique and interesting way to encourage elite farming, make money for sts due to more frequent respecs, as well as create enough diversity in the market that crafted items would yield high demand and thus revitalize the economy.

Add some 'mythic' level components to crates and elite chests and you've got more plat and more and more unique high level items.

It dosen't really make any sense to add a farm to the game..

Erm how about having Bonus Areas where you fight as much enemies as you can. It's not going to be like Watchers Tomb Or Kraken Mines, it's just an area you get once in a while when you pass a particular level or stage. In the area you fight hordes of enemies and gain a huge amount of gold if you complete the bonus round.
