Hi everybody! I wanted to share Corvenous' current pvp build.

During the free re-spec weekend, I tried almost all possible spec combinations effective for pvp combat and this is what I'm sticking to.

USE and STRATEGY:

I start with charged shield for the 2-second invulnerability to cancel opponent's first attack damage. Then I follow up with a charged fireball to stun the enemy in place, I then quickly move in close to cast a charged curse and then hit normal attacks and heal after casting the curse until cooldown time settles. Then I repeat the process. Rogues die the quickest because of the deflect damage caused by the curse.

While curse seems to be a valuable counter attack against the rogue's fast kill abilities, it is tricky to use mainly because casting requires close proximity, otherwise it's useless. But once you have a strategy in place, it's hard to go wrong. Before season 4 when I wasn't using curse, my deaths were more than my kills. So I guess it's fair to say I've harnessed using it now that my kills are significantly more than my deaths.

They have increased the curse deflect damage percentage this season and I'd like to encourage sorcs reading this, to practice and harness using it in combat as I have found it to be a very valuable skill against our greatest nemesis, the rogues.

I hope this gives a bit of insight. I love the sorcerer class, but I had previously considered making a rogue as my main character because sorcs have a very weak defense build, but curse somewhat gives the sorc a very good fighting chance.

So practice using it, master it, and kill rogues as quickly as they target you with an aimed shot!

your skill combi are good but i think you need to back up your skills with more strength since your have no any killer skills, and your just relying on your curse. what if you encounter 2 rouges at the same time or any warrior. i think even those warrior with a crappy armor can easily tear you down or any good rouge who knows how to counter your curse.

my suggestion is, remove mana and health regen over time (those additional health and mana regen overtime are not good when you are facing with fast killer toons) put those 2 to lightning.

(for my lvl23 toons my build is fire 4/5, lightning 3/5, curse 5/5 and shield 4/5, heal 2/5)

this is very effective since ganging is too much on my lvl mostly with rouges, also in pvp war.

**charged fire(stun).normal.lightning.normal.normal then charged curse. then shield(no need to charge shield) definitely at this moment if rouge is greedy over kills and don't have any background of curse they will attack you w/o casting their packs if they do try to use the same routine depending on your enemy. but if the enemy uses malison, after you cast your shield replace heal over shield, since the 2 sec invi is in effect no need to worry about attacks. just make sure that you can change your skill in a matter of 2 secs. (but sometimes when i'm changing my skill rouges are dead already) but most of the time i never use heal.

this set of skills are applicable also for mages

(but for warriors i never use curse, except those who uses ribbit) i have different set of skills when doing pvp with warriors.
