Kettle vs. Malison

I feel like the 10% dmg on kettle is better than the +5 int, str, and dex mali gives. plus kettle's arcane is cool. but i cant decide which one to get

I use Kettle. But Malison's crit can be useful. Plus it's cheaper.

I use both, but use Kettle more often. I would say the only way Kettle wins though is if you are a Rogue built for damage (Bow user). If you are a dagger user you have to take that Dodge/HP over DmG.

I used both Kettle and Mali on my sorc in the past.

If you want to go for dmg, I'd definitely go for Kettle. That 10% increase is certainly noticable. Mali offers a little better protection but, IMO, not enough to drop the permanent 10% extra dmg Kettle offers.

So my vote would go to Kettle for Sorcerers and Rogues.

Isn't Flapjack's 15% damage buff still out there? I use Flap Jack all the time - and love his stun effect...
