Exact Meaning of the Word 'Rushing'?

Okay, so I don't know the exact meaning of rushing, rusher, etc. What exactly does it mean?

It means in PvP games you just attack, you don't ask if your opponent is ready.

In PL it was considered polite to ask if your opponent was ready, then when both players said "go", you would start fighting. I think it was pretty dumb, but was the culture of the game.

In AL we all rush and rarely does someone wait for you to say you are ready. If you're not ready, don't join the game.

Rushing doesn't even make any sense. Players have 15sec of invulnerability.

Thanks, that helped. Cant say Ive seen this happen in 1v1s...though it does occur frequently in 5v5s.
