Lending system

Hey,

I think the best update would be a lending system. A lot of players lend their weapons like a napalm or something then get scammed because the borrower dont respect the pact. A lending system will make the item get back to the owner with a time restriction. Using the same idea, guildhall can have lending terminal where players can borrow weapons and give back to the terminal with time restriction. However, the real owner can still take back the item from the terminal. The player cant leave guild without retirning all items, or leaving guild makes him loose the item, returning back to the terminal. No more lending scam... Less recovering problems...

What do you guys think about it.

If they implemented one of those "item can not be sold or traded things" in those specific items (except the real owner ofc), that would be literally a perfect idea. And the player wouldn't actually have to go to give it back, after a certain period of time the item should automatically be transfered to the original owner!!

Been suggested before. There are many ways lending items could become possible scams, but if all could be prevented, lending items would be quite interesting. To say the least, it'd make everything different.

great idea, but this is what i think
They should set up a terminal where either:
1) a person unlocks weapons/armour as they level up, and can rent them for set price per hour or
2) a player puts an item in the rent terminal, where players can pick up the item with a fee, for a period of time restricted by the owner of the weapon or gear. This will help with the inflation of money in SL and will act as a type of investment income, providing people with a easier way to earn money to cope with the rising prices of weapons, gear and vanity
